[ Let me start by saying that these were my favorite sunglasses in the 90s, and when I had LASIK surgery I was very stoked to find out that Oakley had reissued them. The Good: They seem to be even sturdier than the originals. The new Prism lenses are very clear and sharp. The overall profile of the sunglasses is similar to the original Frogskins. Oakley offers replacement lenses for these sunglasses. The Bad: They are not exactly the same in either shape or in size as the originals. The reissues are bigger both horizontally and vertically. This is why Oakley now offers what they call `` Asian Profile '' Frogskins. The `` Asian Profile '' is actually much closer to the original size of Frogskins from the 90s. On the whole, they seem to be very solidly built and the style is close enough to the original that I am satisfied with the fit. They are very expensive, but the build quality is quite high, and when you factor in the replacement leses that are offered, I feel they are worth the money.

[ I 've been wearing Frogskins for over 30 years and they 've been the only shades that made sense and I love 'em so much I milked some old pairs until they started makin them again. I sat on or broke a few pairs back in the day so I was stoked when they re- released them and realized that unlike the original versions, there are no metal/screw hinges so the arms pop off if you sit on them and go right back together. Couple that with endless color combos and lenses that are easily interchangeable plus being light, comfy and easy on the eyes and you 're stoked... the optics are dope. no brainer.

Very nice Sunglasses. I bought them to be able to have them wrap around my ear as I wear them on the golf course, and wearing hats, other sunglasses I own have a straight arm. These require me having them inside the hat or over the hat, and either way I do it, if I adjust my hat they move around on my face. These have a curved arm at the ends to allow them to slip around my ears. Very dark, lightweight, and stay on my face when I swing the golf club.
