Smith, unfortunately, negated one of my prescription lens focus specifications, but they gave me a credit( not as much as the glasses) and I had a local optometrist install lenses with the correct focus.

I had another pair of smith sunglasses that I loved and I wore them to the point where the rubber on them was falling apart... I am very happy with these new glasses and they do great on the water and allow you to see very well. The tortoise brown frame with the green lenses looks sharp. The side shields keep light out, and they are light weight. I love them. They are great for fishing and around the pool. I wouldn ’ t recommend using them as a driving sunglass because the side shields block some of your peripheral vision.

Perfect for windy West Texas quail hunting. The lens shape and frame fit provides full protection to eyes from dust and debris in gusty and stiff winds. The temple style and fit kept the glass firmly in place under recoil and sudden, jerking spins to catch quail flushing. This lens color seemed ideal to provide better contrast( not too dark) for the flying birds and seemed to make the colors of the downed quail more vibrant and easy to find. I did n't buy these glasses for this purpose, but they were in the truck at camp when I headed out to hunt and realized the cold front moving in was going to be gusty.( Further, you really should be wearing glasses when shooting a firearm!)

[ The most essential thing for sunglasses is the way they fit an individual face. For me, it has always been difficult to find sunglasses that fit my rather low nose bridge, as Asian Fit glasses usually fit me best. The glasses that work best for me are the Oakley Half Jacket with raised nose pads, and the Oakley Holbrook. When I tried these on, I instantly knew they were a winner. Somehow 100 Percent has managed to create a sunglass that fits almost all face types. They 're light and they stay in place as well, which is important for active pursuits that these sunglasses lend themselves towards. Time will tell how the optics perform, but so far, the photochromic feature changes shade within 90 seconds or so. The periphipheral view is adequate, and the frame bar in the middle of the sunglass does not get in the way of vision.

[ These are the only shades that fit my low nose bridge and high cheekbone face. No need to change out nose pads either. Photochromic lens work as advertised though a bit dark when clear or light lense needed. All in all, great sunglasses and very happy with them.

[ Immediately after taking these out of the box I was upset because there was a HUGE scratch on the corner and a smaller one right above the nose. The bigger scratch looked like someone had dug it out with a knife so I checked the photos again and it sure does not appear on the stock photo of the color that I purchased but there are some that show it because it is apparently 100% ’s marking? That ’s fine but not showing it in photos is super weird. Once i realized it wasn ’ t an issue i decided the smaller legit scratch over the nose was not a huge deal and now i love them.
