The balls have only been hit a few time, so its hard to tell on the quality of the balls. But I bought these strictly for my daughter to practice in the yard. They seem ok as of now. The plastic bucket is just like any other. It is made the same as the name brands to me. I think softballs and buckets are way over priced, so I bought this because it was the cheapest one. Im not disappointed.

Every year, I throw BP to my son in our back yard, at least once a week during baseball season. Inevitably, some are lost to the woods, tall grass, and lawn mower. We obviously ca n't afford to spend$ 5 per ball for backyard BP, but we have to use actual leather covered balls so they 'll stand up to a 13 year- old boy with a 76 MPH exit velocity. So... these balls have become my favorite, BY FAR! I have been buying 2 dozen every Spring for the past 3 years and they always end up lost or mutilated before they ever wear out. These whiffles cost more than the standard white ones, but they ’ re worth it. They ’ re more durable by a long shot, as the cheap white ones will crack and fall apart quickly. These can be hit hard, stomped on and smashed and they just bounce back into shape. The colors make them more visible to the hitter as well. The flight path seems to be a little less predictable, sort of like a knuckleball, but that can be a good thing for training.

[ It's great quality. it's about the closest thing to the real balls you get in the MiLB to me. The seams are noticeable, not like the balls in the MiLB. But the ball hits about the same has the balls in the MiLB and only thing you will notice is that the ball has a lot more spend then the ones you get in collage or the MiLB. I blame the seams on that. but overall, it's a great ball. again, this is just me speaking. But I have a lot of balls that are made for the MiLB from the Mudcats and the Fayetteville woodpeckers. this one comes close to both of them.
