I am 5' 3 '' and 143lbs. I wear a medium but wanted these pants large to fit over leggings and cold winter wear for a trip to Iceland. They are baggy as they should be. I bought a large and have room to wear both baselayer and leggings over. I like them baggy; they cinch tight and the ankles have good velcro and long leg zippers for a quick pull on in sudden rain. I 'm excited to take these on my trip. I am a true `` medium '' and could wear these over single leggings in that size but, I 'm skydiving and need the wind and rain protection so extra layers are essential.
