This product was exactly what I purchased it for. A lightweight alternative and still some comfort for long backpacking trips.

5 Miki N.
I chose this pad because it was rated as one of the top 10 products for 'best sleeping pads for women' on Outdoor Gear Lab. I wanted to optimize for weight and this pad met my needs. I love that the pad is easy to inflate using the stuff sack as the inflator pump- it helps me blow less of my own germs/moisture into the pad if I do n't have to put my mouth on it. It's a pretty thin pad but I do n't have any issue of feeling the ground when I lie down on it and the 'air sprung cells' are pretty comfortable since it's more flexible than a flat inflated pad. I 've tried other inflated pads that make a lot of noise whenever I roll to my side but this one is not that noticeable. The color on of the actual product is more of a bright salmon pink than what's in the photo.

5 Amanda N.
I ’ ve only used it twice but it was easy to set up and comfortable. Even as a side sleeper!

5 Kendall A.
This sleeping pad is super easy to inflate and put away. I read reviews of complaints about it being noisy but mine is not that way. It's really comfy and any way I lay, my body is elevated. I would definitely recommend this product!!

Used it for my Eurovan mattress replacement. It's slightly big but super comfy.

5 Chris R.
Pros Awesome mattress nice and thick. Slept on a couple of roots didn ’ t even know were there until I picked up the mattress. Really was comfortable and worth the$$ Con If I were to change anything I would say you could go to 28/30 inches You also have to be a magician to get the mattress back in the bag takes a lot of work however when I got home we used the vacuum to deflate them fully

5 John K.
This pad is absolutely the BEST. I bought a regular wide and used it to stealth camp in my Honda Element at the crag this week. Long story short I 'm buying a double soon to keep in my vehicle at all times, and using the regular for tent camping when necessary. If you 're researching for van life, stop. This thing is your solution.

5 Heather W.
THIS IS BY FAR THE MOST COMFORTABLE THING I 'VE EVER SLEPT ON. And that includes real beds. I sleep on this in my car, in my tent, cowboy camping, under a tarp, and even when I crash at a friend's house. Impeccable comfort, ease of use, and durability.

5 Kase C.
I 'm Search and Rescue. There are a lot of nights where I have to sleep in my truck at base camp or just catch some shut eye before I drive home. It really wide and plenty thick for a soft or supportive sleep. I can toss and turn all night and not wake up sore.

[ Great quality camping bed that is very comfortable. Does n't take much space and is very easy to inflate and pack up for on the go. Nice color as well and i love the fact it is 4 seasons rated.

5 Meghan
This is incredible quality, the material is very thick and it looks nice. It blows up very good and doesn ’ t leak air and it doesn ’ t sit too high off the ground so it is safe for almost any age to sleep on

5 JDSG
I am so impressed with this air mattress. Not only does it have the ability to self inflate but it self deflates as well. It sucked all of the air out which made making it away very easy. It came with a bag for convenient storage as well. The mattress is large enough for two adults and can be inflated to the desired firmness.

5 KSS1
Great quality and slim air mattress. Perfect for all needs. Airbed arrived in a small box perfect for storage and comes with an easy fast pump for inflating and deflating. Large enough for 2 people comfortably

5 Wiggle balls
We have only had this for a few days and it has n't been outside. Whether you are two boys camping in the living room or two adults- it works. [ The Intex 20in Queen Dura- Beam Prime Comfort Elevated Airbed with Internal Pump is very comfortable and sturdy the internal air pump is a great plus as there is no carrying around extra pieces or forgetting the air pump

5 Renej
[ I am so glad I got this. I picked this bed because I thought it would be a good guest bed and back up bed for sleeping in front of the fireplace in case the heat goes out. What I did not expect was to like it better then my regular air bed that I had purchased a few years ago. I like that it is easy to adjust the amount of air to get just the right firmness. I liked the full setting because it was supportive and comfortable. I liked how quick and easy it was to set up. The instructions included lots of pictures and was very easy to follow step by step for inflating as well as deflating. It took approximately 10 minutes to fill and another 10 to deflate. My sheets fit the bed, so I would say the queen size is true to size. I also liked that a caring/storage bag was included. Unfortunately it is a draw string closure, and I could not close the bag tightly, but that is a minor complaint for a top quality air bed.

5 ChrystalNC
[ Best inflatable mattress I 've ever used. Almost the full size of a mattress and box spring you you do n't feel like your on the ground/floor. Very comfortable and easily inflated it has its own built in pump and blows up quickly using your electric or an inverter in your car. You can adjust the firmness or softness with the twist of the know just depends on what you like. It's easy to store away when not in use. Would absolutely purchase again.

5 Anjel
[ I didn ’ t expect that air bed can b this much comfortable... super quality and amazing comfortable duel chamber allow for fitted sheet to tuck tightly standard queen sheets fit on this... double pattern sleeping surface is soft and comfortable... with internal pump very easy to inflate and deflate... I m using from last one week my kids sleep on this play on this not sagging and best for guest.... I have no complain

5 Drafthorsemama
[ Ok so my husband snores and it makes me crazy. I used to sleep on the couch but eventually my back couldn ’ t take it every night. I wanted something that wasn ’ t a permanent fixture but something I could sleep on a few nights a week and get a good nights sleep.. and I found it!! I love that it has an internal pump. This makes inflating so much easier. The air mattress itself hold air very well and is extremely comfortable! I love the fact that it is thick& durable. This has been a lifesaver for me.

5 KS Girl
Purchased this pad for my husband's ATV trip, but my daughter ended up commandeering it! It's very comfortable and easy to use both for outdoor trips and indoor sleepovers!

5 brandona44
[ Not even joking in the summary. This is seriously the most comfortable air/inflatable mattress I have ever come across. It ’s labeled as a camping bed, but I have no immediate camping plans and figured it could double as a great guest bed option. I don ’ t regret claiming this at all. It features self- inflating foam, which took about 10 minutes to rise from being unpacked. They include an air bag which you blow up by blowing into it, allowing you to roll the excess air into the mattress and make it more firm. Deflating was just as easy as inflating, only requiring you to roll out the air via the deflate valve. For some reason, rolling it up was also the best experience I ’ ve come across. The mattress didn ’ t roll out of place at any point and stayed tightly in place as I held it. Truly impressed by this product, I immediately buy another if I ever needed it and I ’ d definitely recommend this to family and friends. Thank you, Influenster — great campaign!

5 busymom71717
[ I recently had the opportunity to try the Self- Inflating Camp Bed by Bertin, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! From the first time I used it, I could see that this wasn ’ t just another air mattress! I was amazed with everything about this camp bed! The design is genius and practical! It's a game- changer for anyone who enjoys camping or outdoor adventures. It is very quick and easy to set up! I had never seen a bag to inflate the mattress before, but I followed the instructions and it was truly eye- opening experience and it worked so well! The size is perfect for a tall person like me, it provides ample space for me to stretch out comfortably. I am 6ft tall so that is kind of rare for me to find! And I had no issues with feeling cramped. It even accommodated me and my dog without any problems! The extra width was a bonus, making it feel just like a real bed. So in my opinion, what sets this camp bed apart besides its superior comfort…is it also has foam! It ’s like a foam mattress and air mattress combined into one! The foam inside provides excellent support, and I had one of the best night's sleep I 've ever had outdoors! I woke up feeling refreshed and ready for another day of adventure. Lastly, the durability of this camp bed is impressive. I used it on rough terrain, and it held up perfectly without any punctures or leaks. Folding it back up is also a breeze, and it fits neatly into the included carry bag. Which is so compact and easy to carry and lug around. So, if you 're looking for a comfortable, easy- to- use, and durable camp bed, I highly recommend the Self- Inflating Camp Bed by Bertin. It's a game- changer for your outdoor experiences! Next level of camp beds!

5 juliarig
[ Very comfortable, had no issues with durability and it did come with a patch in case of any holes. The first time inflating took awhile but after that it inflated much quicker. It ’s not as thin as other mats but that is the trade off for the comfort of it.

5 Timbo
[ We recently used this product on a camping trip and it worked great! While it comes with a manual pump, I highly recommend getting a small handheld electric pump for quicker inflation. It also includes a nozzle that ’s compatible with most pumps. The pads are definitely on the larger side, which we loved. If you overinflate, there ’s a quick- release valve that lets you easily deflate the pad to your desired firmness. Such a great feature! This pad is best suited for car or tent camping, as it ’s quite large and not ideal for backpacking. We ’ ve also used it when staying over at a friend ’s house, and it worked perfectly. Highly recommend this pad if you ’ re looking for comfort and extra space!

I 've been searching for a better camping pad since I got a shoulder injury. I roll around a lot but sleep on my side most of the time. This pad is great! The inflator bag is easy to use. It took about five refills for it to get the pad very firm. The one- way valves work great and the little deflator nub makes small adjustments easy. The whole thing is the perfect size. Plenty of room for me to sprawl but does n't take up all the room in my `` two person '' tent. Does n't leak air at all.

5 Coachrod
This is a good bed for when you have company over. I like that it has an ultra- fresh antimicrobial surface to prevent growth of Oder- causing bacteria, mildew and mold. Inner high- gauge vinyl seals in air and prevents pressure loss.

5 KaKip3
This is a great, comfortable air mattress! Inflated in about 3 minutes and has a green light to tell you when it full which is helpful. Love the raised height. Thick quality material. My dog even walked on it and it didn ’ t pop! Stayed inflated all night and I love the tech perks. If you are able to leave it plugged in it has a usb port for charging, a blue night light, and a back up pump to keep it inflated if it starts to less pressure. It never came on for us but nice to know it ’s there. We use this for vacations and guests who come to stay.

5 Mr. Matt
Most comfortable air mattress I ’ ve ever owned. Comes with a convenient carrying bag, easy to open up and roll out. All built into one unit. Pump is highly efficient inflating and deflating the bed in only a few minutes, even has a very quiet built in feature that keep the air pressure up while you sleep. On the actual built in pump unit, it has a controllable on/off blue night light and options for USB or wall plug power. What ’s really nice about this mattress is it ’s high off the ground as you ’ ll see in the picture and is firm enough to prevent sinking.

5 Owen
This air mattress inflates( and deflats) quickly, is very soft and comfortable, and is just about the right size for two( medium- sized) adults! Cord tucks away for easy storage and fits in a nice cloth bag( included)!

5 C Heeter
This luxury queen airbed is a must have! Great for camping or just extra guests at your home. Super soft. Plenty of room. Very comfortable. Doesn ’ t deflate like some cheaper ones do. Keeps its shape through the night. Great sleep!

I bought 2 of these several months ago for the Wife& I. These are a GREAT 3- Season Backpacking Sleeping Pads. As a bonus, they fits perfectly in the zip on side pockets of my KarrimorSF Predator 80- 130 Liter PLCE Modular Backpack. These Sleeping Pads inflate relatively quickly, requiring only a couple of extra puffs to bring the pad up to full inflation. They deflate even quicker with a little extra help& pack easily into the provided stuff sack.

Excellent for hickers! Small and light. Good for all ages.

5 Mkbb
I 've used this on several Midwest backpacking trips and sleep comfortably without having to pack some monstrous pad. Much preferred to foam.

5 Dt1225
I was so surprised at the comfort of this pad. I am a big guy( 6' 2 '' '' 250#) and this has not let me down. Self inflation is quick and I only have to add 4- 5 puffs of air to get it to my liking. On VERY cold nights, I put it in a home made sleeping bag liner( flannel from local craft store) and it slides nicely inside my mummy bag.

It is very easy to setup this twin airbed for company

5 DennyR
This bed comes in a nice small package( and easily fits back in after use and deflation). It was easy to set up and inflated in about 7 minutes. It was equally as easy to take back down and deflated in about half the time. It's not very thick once inflated, but was comfortable to lay on and get rest. It's perfect for when you need that extra bed and have a tight space to fit it in. It's twin sized and perfect. The one con I have( and did n't realize when ordered) is it does not come with a pump to blow it up. Luckily I had one and it worked perfectly. The valve has several options so it should fit most pumps designed for that type of work. I highly recommend this air mattress for anyone looking to add an additional bed for those kid sleepovers and looking for a nice way to get off the ground and sleep comfortably during your next camping trip.

5 Nicole
Perfect air mattress for camping or when you need an extra bed for overnight guests. Inflate in minutes using the quick release valve. When deflated folds to a compact size for easy storage when not in use. Coil construction provides a comfortable sleeping experience.

5 Jasonlovesthetigers20
This is a high quality, durable air mattress. It packs down very small and is great for camping. The top is plush and very soft and the vinyl is very thick and durable. It blows up quickly with an hand pump. I am 6 ’ 4 ” am able to fit on it comfortably.

Great air mattress. We use this air mattress at home for nap time and we take it on the weekends when we go to the campground for our smallest grandbaby to sleep on to keep her safe from falling off the bed. This one is perfect cuz it does n't take up too much room but I also give you height that you 're not right on the ground I have tried several other hair mattresses and there would never stay in them after a few uses we 've been using this one for a few weeks now and not had any issues I also like that it looks fancy

5 Cynthia J
[ I am very excited about this. It has internal pump, very comfortable, forms to your body and does n't get flat.

5 Cindykr
[ I am extremely happy with this air mattress. It is very durable, well made. It comes with a built in air pump, so easy to fill with the right amount of air for your individual comfort level. Fills with air very quickly. Love this.

5 Crystal49
[ This is the sturdiest air mattress I 've ever had. I like to keep an air mattress on hand for visitors, I have a teenager, she has sleepovers. It inflates and deflates quickly, within minutes. If you 're using this for camping, and do n't have an inverter, you can use a manual pump. It's very soft and comfortable, it does n't sag, no troubles turning over in it, and a sheet will fit on it and not pop off. I do suggest airing it up as soon as you get it, and keep it up a few days, and put more air in it those days, it 'll help stretch the material and keep it from sagging in when you sleep. It has air pockets for softness, comes with a patch and a bag to carry it in. Tall enough to get in and out of, you do n't feel like you 're sleeping on the floor. It's a nice mattress.

5 Luvbug92499
[ We received this last week and it is awesome. We camped out this past weekend and used this in our tent... it was super comfy and not too hard. It was very easy to inflate and only took a few minutes. Deflation was very easy as well and easy to pack away. We definitely recommend and love!

5 Heather G.
[ I bought this air mattress a few years ago and have used it multiple times for all of the camping music festivals I go to. It's small and easy to pack for a plane ride and easy to blow up. It's a little tricky to fold it up and put it back into its pouch but just get as much air out as possible. My mattress ripped when my now ex boyfriend drunkly fell on it the first night of a 4 day festival. It was leaning up against the wall and ripped from landing on a fold up chair. Luckily I had my yoga mat to sleep on. It was almost a year later when I reached out to the company for a replacement and they happily sent me another one. Overall a handy, durable product and a great company. Just do n't carelessly fall onto it while there's potential sharp objects underneath it.

Having owned a number of air mattresses in the past, this one stands above the rest. It is very easy to blow up with the internal pump and then we were able to easily fold it up when were done. Also, the built in pad makes it super comfortable. Lastly it did a great job of holding air through the night. Highly recommend this for your air mattress needs!

5 ddelilah
[ Boy have airbeds come a long way! This airbed is great! Inflating and deflating is a breeze with the internal pump. No more pumping with your foot! We live in warmer weather, and I am so happy that the material absorbs moisture and keeps us cool at night. My sheets fit perfectly on it, and it is very comfortable. I plan on taking it with me when I travel north, it's very compact and so easy to use, it's a no brainer. Love this airbed!

5 Mav90
[ This air mattress could n't be easier to set up and use. After unpacking from the box, just roll it out and plug the pump's cord into a wall socket. Once you hit the On/Off switch, twist the pump's selector towards the `` Fill '' side and in just a few minutes you 'll have an inflated air mattress. The comfort foam material is an exceptionally nice feature making this an even better choice for a quick sleeping arrangement. We 're happy to have this convenient and easily stowable air mattress on hand in case we have to have someone stay over on short notice. We know they 'll have a comfortable night's rest!

5 Marie93

Bought this mat for a 9 day motocycle camping trip. Very comfortable for only being 3 inches thick and packs up small enough to easily pack on a motorcycle. I 'm a large guy at 6ft and 330 pounds, I slept mostly on my side and never felt the ground under me. I seen reviews claiming it was very difficult to get back into its bag, but I had no problems. Just folded it in half lengthwise, open the valve at other end, and tightly rolled it up pushing the air out and closing the valve when done.

This pad is amazing- luxuriously plush and ridiculously comfortable. Almost as comfortable as own bed. You 'll be living large using it... and large it is. Too heavy/bulky to use for a long, backpacking thru- hike, but for a weekender or car camping, it's perfect. One quibble: the stuff sack it comes with is ridiculously small to try and fit the pad back into, it's virtually impossible. I wound up purchasing a new SeaToSummit stuff stack to avoid the aggravation. But all in all a sweet camping pad.

I purchased this sleeping mat last year for backpacking and was impressed by a few qualities: 1. The level of comfort. You 'll sleep almost as well on this pad as you will in your bed. 2. The 2- layer valve makes it very easy to inflate and deflate. 3. The soft surface feels nice on your skin, as opposed to being pressed up onto a pool toy as other mats sometimes feel. However, I experienced a problem with the mat springing leaks far too often, and that fuzzy surface I mentioned makes it difficult for a patch to create an air- tight layer. After talking to sea- to- summit about these problems, Matthew contacted me promptly and ensured that these were unusual. Sea to Summit then sent me a new pad in a matter of a couple days. I 'm hoping this mat holds up better, but regardless, I 'm very thankful for the positive interaction I had with Sea to Summit as a result.

I bought the regular size comfort plus self inflating. I have been sleeping on it for about 2 years each night at home and on the trail. Fantastic comfort. Sleep like a baby. Each night I ca n't wait to lie down on the floor. One day a week, I leave the valve open all day to allow it to return to original shape. What more can I say? Does a fantastic job without any noise or hot spots or soft spots. Seems to be extremely rugged and able to handle daily use without putting a blanket over it for protection. One thing I do is never lie down with anything sharp or even metal. I hope you have the same experience with this product. Thanks for reading, Kindest regards, Tom

This is a great mattress. I use it in the back of my truck camping mainly but have also used in a larger tent. I have the double size version and it is extremely comfortable. We have even used it for relatives kids at our house. I would say that I have had my best nights sleep camping on this mattress. It is fairly large for storing but does roll up pretty good considering the size. It also inflates easily.

[ Ultra light, ultra awesome. This is like sleeping on a cloud. I 'm 6' 3 '' so I needed a mat like this for backpacking. If you do n't sleep well, you do n't hike well. This mat takes care of that. Comfortable, small packed and light... perfect for backpacking.

5 Strawbridge Treks
[ This is almost like cheating. It is comfortable and quiet compared to all the other lightweight options out there. It's a good night sleep whether you are out there for two nights or two seasons.

5 andythecota
[ Bought this for some backpacking adventures. 100% recommend! Can ’ t even tell I ’ m sleeping on the floor. Really easy to inflate too, it only takes a couple minutes.

5 Arian A.
Its pretty light.. inflation is a breeze with a bag pump but i dont like the one that comes with it bcuz i dont like blowing into anything.. it packs down pretty tiny.. also the little air pockets hold your hips up even when sleeping on your side surprizingly.. and the riveted design allows for airflow btween your skin and the matt which is great in the summer so you dont get stuck to the matt with sweat..

5 Brian
I got this mat because the large size packs down as small as most companies' regular size sleeping mats. Inflation is a breeze, it stays inflated all night, it packs down super quick, and it comes with some velcro- like stickies to keep your Sea- to- Summit pillow from sliding off in the middle of the night. I can only comment on the comfort as a back sleeper, and it was fantastic in that category. I stayed put all night on my mat, when on other mats I have tossed and turned from discomfort. Another great quality is it is n't a noisy pad. Some other reviewers have mentioned it was too noisy... Who knows, maybe they were comparing it to a 12 inch thick memory foam mattress or something. It is much quieter than the previous mat I was using, and I have not received any complaints from tent mates. I did a lot of research and testing out other brands before I went with this one, and I 'm glad I did. It's a great value for an ultralight sleeping mat that is n't super fragile, and packs down to an incredibly small size. I will definitely buy the insulated version for the colder nights ahead.

I just got back from my first week- long camping trip with this pad. This has all the advantages of a traditional Thermarest- style pad: self- inflating, choice of size, insulated, pretty thick and comfortable, comparable to my LuxuryMap pads. It does n't seem to be the most insulated pad, but it should work fine outside of a harsh winter campout. PLUS, Sea to Summit somehow made it lighter weight and pack down to nearly 1/3 the size of my LuxuryMap pads.

5 Jfaulk97
[ At- home mattress level of comfort, and the air valve works great so far. [ This is not a brand I had heard of before but it had the features I was looking for at a great price so I thought... why not? I 've slept on this pad for several nights now,( warmer and below freezing temps) and as a side sleeper, backpacking pads are not always comfy... but this is. It's insulated, blows up within 10 breaths( usually 7- 8 for me), packs down to a nice size, is light and I do n't slide off it at all while I toss and turn. Because I sleep on my side, I find if I do n't blow it up firm.. it's great. It's definitely worth a try if you are on the fence.

5 AT Hiker 2021
[ Light weight, easy to inflate( 10 breaths), easy to deflate and it actually folds up and fits back in its tote bag! Keeps my base weight at 15lbs.

[ Bought this mattress for an overnight backpacking trip in New Hampshire ’s White mts. Two nights temperatures dipped only to high 30 ’s but kept me very warm. Light weight and easy to inflate. Only down size was it was alittle bulkier than I was expecting. However worth the space in the bag for a warm restful sleep.

[ I tried the Big Agnes Divide the other night in the yard to test it out. Blows up easy with the bag or by mouth. The quick release button to express a little air for comfort is a great feature. It seems durable and wasn ’ t very loud. The temp went down to 35 and I was very warm. Definitely great for the price.

[ This sleeping pad is like a cloud. It's so soft and comfortable, you 'll never want to get out of your bag.( Unless you have to tinkle, of course.) But even then, you 'll be so reluctant to leave the warmth and coziness of this pad that you 'll probably just end up peeing in your bag.( Just kidding! Do n't do that.) This sleeping pad is also incredibly warm. It's perfect for those cold shoulder nights when you 're camping in Northern Michingan. You 'll be so warm and cozy that you 'll forget all about the cold weather outside. And this sleeping pad is also incredibly lightweight and packable. It's so easy to carry with you on your camping trips. You 'll never have to worry about lugging around a heavy, bulky sleeping pad again. So if you 're looking for a sleeping pad that's comfortable, warm, and lightweight, then this is the pad for you. It's the perfect sleeping pad for any camping trip, whether you 're camping in the mountains or at the beach. And if you 're looking for a sleeping pad that's also funny, then this is the pad for you too. Because this sleeping pad is so comfortable, you 'll be laughing all night long.( Just kidding! Or am I?)

5 Redrider620
[ I have the long wide version for solo trips and it facilitates the best sleep I can get while tent camping. Just picked up the double wide for trips with the wife. It is just as comfortable and even laying in the middle, by myself, on my side, the pad does not compress such that I touch the ground.

5 SamW
[ I ordered this for my partner who thinks most sleeping pads are too small and not thick enough. We have n't had a chance to really put it through the wringer yet, but first impressions are good. It is easy to inflate with the bag. Generously sized and seems durable( we camp with dogs that climb all over the seeping pads and I always worry about their claws). It's maybe a bit bulky/heavy but for the price point and r rating I think it strikes an excellent balance.

[ Exactly what you think you 're getting. Kept me toasty and was super cozy. The inflator bag works great. I think the pack weight and size are spot on.

The queen Quest airbed is such a nice and comfortable airmattress. I used a small 120 v electric inflator and it filled it up in just a couple minutes. My son is 210 lbs and said it was as comfortable as his own queen mattress and loved laying on it while playing on his phone. The top is covered in a soft flock type material and feels very durable. A patch came with it as well incase of a puncture. 616 lb weight limit.

The air mattress I recently got is perfect for around the house or camping in a large family tent. We have used it for guest and they have all said it sleeps great and is very comfortable. Great product!

5 Mom of 4
Great air mattress! Love that it ’s lighter weight- less than 5#. The flocked top makes it even more comfortable to lay on. This mattress can be used indoor or outdoors due to the vinyl sides. It did also come with a batch in case a home is made( I love when companies do that!) The quick release valve is a plus and a time saver. When it was time to pack up and go, we just deflated it, fielded it and retuned it to its box. The mattress is comfortable as well! Happy with it!

5 Joekari3
This air bed is solid. It appears to be made with high quality materials. The top has a soft texture. The bottom appears durable. The spout is adequate for both filling and emptying. The queen size perfect camping and extra sleeping for guests.

This Quest AirBed Mattress was so easy to inflat. The Queen size was a great size for 2 adults to comfortably sleep on. It stayed inflated all night as we camped. The UltraLight Mat is incredibly comfortable to sleep on. It does n't make much noise when you move around on it which is a huge plus. The mat packs down very small and weighs almost nothing. The pad also stands up to many bivy's on rock. I 'm 5'11 '' and the size small fits perfectly with the Aeros Pillow UltraLight just over the top of the mat inside my sleeping bag. Am a 6' 4 ''& 235lb BSA scoutmaster and always get good sleep on this pad. Chose 7oz lighter 25x78 uninsulated Divide for backpacking I sleep in wool layers if it is cold. Inflation squeeze bag puts air into pad via one way inflation port, which avoids saliva or breath contamination. Baffles provide stability across the entire pad, with no soft spots. On 3+ night trips, I have to add air, so it must leak a little. The material does n't seem are noisy or slippery and my ultralight down bag stays atop it the entire night.

I had the original klymaloft and loved it but my one thing I hated was how narrow it was. I 'm a size sleeper and constantly roll back and forth and with the regular size I often found myself on the ground a lot over the night. I just got myself and my partner the XL and have used it twice now. LOVE IT! Just the size I needed to still be portable but deal with my tossing and turning. [ Great sleeping pad, super thick, inflates fully by itself. I have bought two of them and that brings me to why I give this product 4 stars. Because of how thick it is it can retain some moisture, my last sleeping pad got moldy after what I thought was being pretty properly dried out. I would give this product five stars once they make a mold resistant sleeping mat.

Frequently Asked Questions For Durable Air Mattresses for Camping

When selecting a durable air mattress for camping, consider features such as material quality, thickness, and puncture resistance. Look for mattresses made from high-denier fabrics, as they tend to be more robust and resistant to wear and tear. Additionally, check for reinforced seams and a reliable valve system to ensure longevity during outdoor use.

Choosing the right size air mattress for camping depends on your personal space needs and the size of your tent. Consider whether you will be sleeping alone or sharing the space, as well as the dimensions of your tent to ensure a proper fit. Standard sizes include single, queen, and king, so select one that accommodates your sleeping arrangements comfortably.

The best way to inflate a camping air mattress varies by model, but common methods include using a built-in pump, a separate electric pump, or manual inflation. Built-in pumps are convenient and quick, while electric pumps can be faster but require a power source. Manual inflation is an option for those seeking a lightweight, portable solution, though it may take more effort.

Air mattresses can be suitable for various types of camping, including car camping and glamping, where comfort is a priority. However, for backpacking or more rugged camping experiences, lightweight sleeping pads may be more appropriate due to their portability and ease of packing. Consider your camping style and location when choosing the right sleeping solution.

To ensure your air mattress lasts through multiple camping trips, proper care and maintenance are essential. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use, and avoid placing it on rough surfaces that could cause punctures. Additionally, regularly check for leaks and perform any necessary repairs to keep it in good condition.
