These sticks are by FAR the easiest to catch and throw with of any stick, and by a wide margin. They just make getting started with lacrosse so much easier for my 6 year old. The pocket just soaks up the energy when catching so even tennis balls and soft foam lax balls can be used. Also great for just casual playing catch for all ages! I have used just about every type of mini stick or little lacrosse stick out there. This throws great right out of the packaging and has 0 maintenance. Much easier to talk my non lacrosse friends into having a catch because they can actually throw with this stick. Just a heads up though that this seems to be designed for soft lacrosse balls or tennis balls and not for real lacrosse balls.
