I ordered these in a medium and a small due to being unsure of what size. I can honestly fit both. I ’ m 140 pounds, athletic build, 5 ’ 4 ”- 5 ’ 5 ” tall. The smalls for more like a size 4- 6, tighter athletic look. Medium size fits with a lot looser fit, especially in the thigh& waste area( slide right up with no stretching needed in the waste). The medium would be for a person maybe size 6- 8. If I ’ m going for a loose flowy look or if you have thicker legs/thighs, I would say medium. I prefer the more fitted athletic look so smalls are more comfortable feeling for a more athletic outfit look. The small has to stretch in the waste a little for me to put on and is tighter around my thighs than the medium. Size small or athletic look( go running in or could wear at the gym or ball field) and medium for casual look( put with a solid free fly shirt for a casual outing). If this confuses more than helps I ’ ll post photos if needed

First putting on the elastic around the ankles may deter yo but once on you ’ ll really appreciate the elastic ankle. Really satisfied with the comfort and flexibility and security of the pant. I really like these trousers. I wanted a pair of hiking trousers that looked a little more stylish and can be worn in a multitude of scenarios. I have them in green, a pleasing military shade, and like the fact they are all a single block of colour unlike many two- tone hiking trousers( which I personally find a little uncool). Material is flexible facilitating easy and fluid movement and is durable but not heavy. The cut is straight, not baggy, a little more slim than most walking trousers. The elasticated hem is practical and aids with the slimmer line of the trouser. The 3 pockets are all zipped which is practical. The yellow logo on the back is cool. I would recommend and may also buy in the blue colour too.

[ Most of my tops are Nike or Jordan, but when it comes to pants, I usually go for a more refined look and often shop in- person or online at other brands. I was excited to see Nike finally introduce something that competes in that space, though I was a bit skeptical about whether they ’ d measure up. I sized down in these based on reviews. I usually wear a MD pant with Free Fly, but I am glad I sized down. They are `` fitted '' by sizing down, but no uncomfortably. Does not pull with sitting and I can tell they are already relaxing with wear, so I am happy I did size down. I just got these and the fit and features are as advertised. Really like the zippered pockets and extra details. However, I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because there is no: Elastic waistband and internal drawcord gives a secure fit. It does have a french fly( a hook and button closure) which keeps the waist smooth. I 'll probably purchase another color in the future.
