I really like these trousers. I wanted a pair of hiking trousers that looked a little more stylish and can be worn in a multitude of scenarios. I have them in green, a pleasing military shade, and like the fact they are all a single block of colour unlike many two- tone hiking trousers( which I personally find a little uncool). Material is flexible facilitating easy and fluid movement and is durable but not heavy. The cut is straight, not baggy, a little more slim than most walking trousers. The elasticated hem is practical and aids with the slimmer line of the trouser. The 3 pockets are all zipped which is practical. The yellow logo on the back is cool. I sized down in these based on reviews. I usually wear a MD pant with Free Fly, but I am glad I sized down. They are `` fitted '' by sizing down, but no uncomfortably. Does not pull with sitting and I can tell they are already relaxing with wear, so I am happy I did size down. Super cozy! Nicely oversized…the rise( waistband to crotch) is super long which isn ’ t my favorite, but the pants are so comfortable and cozy that I ’ ll deal with that. If you ’ re getting the brown color, be aware it ’s more mauve than brown. Other colors( my family bought every color) are true to the photos.

These are great shorts for everyday wear and training. They are good for running too, but I like something a bit shorter, 5 ” or below is my preference. They ’ re very comfortable and lightweight, the pockets are a good size, the waistband is elastic without being too tight, and the drawstrings aren ’ t so long that they come out of the bottom of the shorts.
