These will likely be my golf shoe of 2021. Yes, I get a few pairs of new golf shoes every season. I walk the course and play about 100 rounds so by the end of the season, the mid soles have compressed and they need to be retired, or else my feet and knees hurt. I bought one pair of these and they were excellent in all aspects. They have classic good looks, fit beautifully, have great traction on all surfaces, and are incredibly comfortable walking the course. They ’ re easy to clean, which I do after every round. I like them so much that I ’ ve now purchased three different colors and will likely just go for all four. They also didn ’ t have any break in period, perfectly good to go straight onto the course right out of the box. So far they seem to be durable, but let ’s give them a full season to prove it. I haven ’ t worn them in wet conditions, but I have been on the course on dewy mornings and evenings, and so far they have kept my feet dry. These may be my favorite FootJoy shoes ever — and I have lots of their models — even better than the Flex, which were my favorites a couple seasons back. I usually wear a wide shoe, but the mediums worked just fine for me.

Played my first 18 yesterday and no aches or sore spots feet felt good, they seem very stable and had very good traction. I bought this shoe because I had previously used the FJ Contour Jogger golf shoe that had the same sole. The Contour casual has the same benefit of the excellent gripping sole( without spikes) and also the ability to go car to pro shop( not wearing out golf cleats). The leather on this shoe is amazing and if you 've owned FJ before, you know to buy something when it's available because there's always the poss of things changing in future years with sytle etc. The functionality of this shoe is A++, the quality is A++, the durability is A++. I can not speak for waterproof quality as I have not worn the shoe in wet conditions, but FJ has always warrantied thier products well and so I think that will be A+ as well.

My number one reason for leaving this review is that i just played 14 holes for a charity scramble, and it was rain before we started. The shoes made it 12 rounds before I could feel water getting in around the edges. Not bad for hurricane weather! I tried on several shoe brands and types before choosing this style and fit. The size was not accurate to what i would normally wear, but is very comfortable! I played golf once without a waterproof shoe on an early morning, never again. Since buying them I have played on a 102° day and yes my feet were hot, but I feel the shoes did there job of being breathable.

The design and quality are great, but the shoes run small. I recommend ordering at least half a size up. They still feel comfortable once you get the right fit, but sizing could be improved.

Once I received them I played a walking round immediately. They ’ re fantastic and they feel like you don ’ t have much on. While also having fantastic traction while in the rough or having to give your swing a little extra. I would highly recommend this golf shoe for wide and comfort.
