I bought this jacket for an upcoming bike ride because of it's nice yellow color and cropped style. I almost always wear an XS in Columbia jackets, however, I ended up exchanging the XS for a Small to gain a little extra length as it was just a little too cropped for me. Not in a bad way — just very fitted. If you ’ re used to looser jackets, this might catch you off guard at first. [ I like this jacket a lot! It ’s definitely fitted but it makes for a great layering piece under a vest or under another long sleeve layer. I have been wearing it for walks outside over a tank top and it ’s been very comfy and a nice soft workout material. It ’s also been keeping me nice and cozy on walks. I think it would also be good for runs, as since it ’s so fitted there ’s nothing to get in the way of movement. The design is nice because it ’s just the swoosh on the chest so it ’s very lowkey. There are no pockets or thumb holes though so that is something to consider. But the sleeves are stretchy and can be pushed up but are longer to cover the hands a bit. Overall I like how sleek and simple this design is and that it matches all of my workout gear! It ’s super comfy and stretchy and I think it ’s a great layering piece.

I like the fit. This is perfect for the gym over workout wear or just casual wear. I personally like the thumbholes in the sleeves. The sleeve length is long enough to use these if it ’s a bit cooler out and one wants to cover the hands a bit. I would recommend this product. Definitely a jacket for specific shoulder season weather: colder, semi- dry days. It's a warm jacket that sadly does n't have pit zips to let heat out when the hiking/climbing gets going. I had to fully unzip the front and leave it open. Would n't use it as a rain jacket. Could be used as a light snow jacket. I 've been using it as a springtime( and fall) belay jacket and it works great. If you get caught in a drizzle the repellancy works shedding water and wind. Love the soft, stretch fabric that does n't restrict moment and allows me to wear just a t- shirt underneath if need be. Big pockets all with good zippers and it packs into its own pocket. The hand cuffs are interesting and remind me of cycling jackets that are longer on top to keep water off the back your hands. It has stretch band cuff on the underside along wrist. So far i have n't had issue with them, but i worry the elastic will one day no longer be tight and the cuff could be baggy and useless. Maybe they should have stuck with classic Velcro straps to adjust cuff tightness-- only time will tell. Overall i like the jacket as my backup for when i do n't expect bad weather but need something just in case. A great jacket for walking around town too.

For reference I am 5 ’ 1 ” with an athletic build. I am a solid size small/6. I prefer clothing to fit looser and not skin tight. This jacket is awesome. It ’s buttery soft and the size small fits perfectly. In fact, it ’s going to replace a similar jacket that is double the price. The arms have holes for the thumbs and although it ’s ever so slightly long, it can easily and comfortably be folded. Two outside pockets PLUS two inside pockets!! The fit is true to size.
