I got this hat in store and after wearing it probably 4 days in a row I went online to buy it in black too. I always wear my hair in a ponytail or a messy bun and this hat has a big enough space in the back for either, while also being a little higher than where the hole would typically be on a hat for your ponytail to go through. The material is breathable and could look sporty or cute with just a regular outfit bc there aren ’ t any big logos on the hat. Some of my adidas or Nike hats look too sporty for an every day outfit or casual dress, but not this one. I will probably end up getting more colors, which is always a sign that I really like something. It ’s also very comfortable and doesn ’ t give me a headache like some other stiffer hats. This is a win for me! I ’ m loving the CALIA brand!

My son was broken hearted when he lost his blue hat in Alaska. I was so happy to find the red one on- line so we ordered two just in case we lost another one! [ I bought 2 originally and honestly am in the process of buying 4 similar hats as I 've had a very difficult time finding a well fitting hat that can hold up to the rigor of normal wear and tear. I wear one for work where my hat has a mountain ridge line of sweat going across it. It has n't warped and the elastic bands still fit snug to my head without the usual looseness that happens after hats get wet or are worn too much in activities that have excessive movements involved. It's also held up after being doused in rain storms. I do n't collect hats or consider them fashion statements and use them for their intended function of providing some shade from the sun and also doubling as a sweat band. The fit is also great.
