[ This is a very comfortable cot. ... So comfortable and good size. ... Very portable ... It beats camping on the ground, and also beats camping on an inflatable camp

[ I bought this to camp by myself in my Nemo Dagger 2P. This cot takes up more than half the space in the tent. It would be difficult for someone else to sleep next to me, and two of these cots would not fit in this particular 2 man tent. I found that I needed to insert the long side poles in the cot fabric, then put that in the tent, before connecting the leg braces to complete set up. It would not fit through the door completely assembled outside the tent. As for the cot itself, it is very sturdy for my 230 lbs. stocky frame. The leg mechanisms operated very efficiently, and did not require significant force to clamp into place. Once together, it was plenty long enough for my 5' 7 '' height, but it was somewhat narrow, causing my arms to rest on the side bars while lying down. While that was somewhat uncomfortable, it was easy to roll over onto my side, and the fabric of the cot was very quiet while moving around. Setup is easy( after working out my senior moment of connecting the cross braces upside down, which will not work). When broken down, the cot fits easily in the compact case it comes with. I was planning to buy the extension legs, but after putting this in my tent, I realized that the increased height of the cot would not fit, as the walls of the tent gradually taper in as they come up from the floor. I have several Helinox products, and they are darn expensive, but worth the cost. This cot is far superior to the Go Kot that I have had for many years.

[ Was a little concerned with the price point and frankly, the weight penalty, but both of those concerns vanished the first night I was able to sleep on this cot. It is very comfortable even for a XL person such as myself... I 'm a side sleeper and I could n't believe how well this worked for me.. And I wo n't kid you.. As an `` older '' person I 'm beginning to appreciate my creature comforts much more so this was a nice addition to the kit. At 6' 1 '' I had no issues keeping fully on the cot. No dangling feet, etc. Note sure I 'd have it on a long trek where weight is a concern, but after sleeping on this a few nights, I might have to rethink this position... Nothing helps you maintain your stamina like a good nights rest. The ground is n't getting any softer for some reason... I could probably lose 2. 5 lbs somewhere in the bag just to keep this with me.. We 'll see. For very cool or cold nights, I 'd have a lightweight thermal pad on top of the cot. So many of the newer sleeping bags have soooo much less insulating material on the `` bottom side ''( for winter activities I use a 40 year old Alpine Designs down expedition bag with lots of material underneath me) and if there is a breeze or just cold air circulating around your bed site, that cool air can find it's way to your backside... Just something to block that chill would work fine.. I just happened to have a Therma- Rest Z- lite pad with me in case this cot failed!... I used it on two nights when the wind was stirring things up at ground level. When the winds were calm I did n't use the pad... That combination worked well... I might add one of my inflatables in the summer months but we 'll see... The cot itself is very comfortable and does n't need any additional padding unless you really want to go the all luxury route and want to carry that weight.. At base/fish camp, I 'd probably add something underneath me for sure. Great product and so happy to have it in the kit. Should these units( I purchased 2) suffer some failure due to quality, I 'll update this post. Cheers

[ Bought this after trying the Thermarest Mesh cot. No comparison. I am# 215 and was having hard time getting in and out of Mesh Cot and found it very unstable. This one is rock solid and significantly easier to put together.

[ Very easy to setup compared to others I have tried. Relatively comfy although some padding would be nice. Packs fairly small but probably a little big for backpacking. I did get the extra legs which is the main reason I chose this cost which makes it much easier to get in/out.

[ I love moto camping and a good nights sleep is essential for the next days ride. Unfortunately even having a high quality air mattress can only go so far. As I get older, rolling out of the tent is getting more difficult. I purchased the Helinox Cot One and found this to be more comfortable, faster set up and just as compact as my Exped 7 mattress. The really nice thing is being off the ground and able to sit up and get out of the bed. As a side sleeper I was also concerned about the comfort but I found it to be better. It's quite expensive however it will pay for itself in a very short time.

The comments saying that the assembly was impossible had me apprehensive, but I did not find it difficult. The cot is generously sized for someone under 6ft. After that you may end up touching the bars. Just got it so I ca n't vouch for the durabilit, but I am very pleased so far, considering the price.

I was very impressed of how comfortable this cot is. Yes, it's 20lbs heavy, and IF YOU HAVE N'T SEEN THE RIGHT VIDEO ON YOUTUBE on how to set it up, you wo n't know how easy it is to set it in less than 2 minutes

Great product for the value, and easy set- up, more comfortable than I assumed it would be. Very sturdy.

I could see the combo of the pad plus the cot being nice for more insulation against the cold when it's cold out. ... [ Second one for my wife, light, compact yet very comfortable, not easy to do but like how those levers keep tight tension on

[ I bought this for camping. I am using it with an inflatable air mattress on top with a down quilt. Used it about 5 nights so far. I have 2 other cots and although this one is most expensive and the other cots I have are really just as comfortable, the Helinox is easier to put together, lighter, feels more stable, and has the option to add the legs for added height. My air mattress does slide a little if not on completely level ground so I am going to try to figure out a way to secure it to the cot.

[ We bought 2 Helinox cots for guests( children) to be able to keep all the family together at night in our small condo. The two cots seems very strong, really simple to build but you will need some strength with the handles the first time( we were afraid to break the handles) and strength needed to unbuild them too. Small space needed for storage

Additionally, many models offer elevated sleeping surfaces, which can improve comfort and support compared to sleeping directly on the ground.
Folding cots for adults are often constructed from durable materials such as steel or aluminum frames for strength and stability. The sleeping surface is usually made from heavy-duty fabric that is both breathable and easy to clean. Some models may also incorporate additional features like padded surfaces for enhanced comfort.
When selecting a folding cot for adults, consider the cot's dimensions and weight capacity to ensure it can comfortably accommodate the user. It's important to check the length and width to ensure it provides enough space for a good night's sleep. Additionally, consider the height of the cot, especially if ease of getting in and out is a priority.
Yes, folding cots for adults are versatile and can be used both indoors and outdoors. They are ideal for camping trips, outdoor festivals, or as extra sleeping arrangements at home. Additionally, cots typically offer better ventilation and can be used on uneven terrain without the risk of puncturing.
