I was looking for a new pair and have always had success with FJ, being in the northeast, waterproof was essential and these shoes are a dream. I wore the Premier Series- Field for the first time yesterday for 18 holes. I did n't walk, but even riding in a cart and walking around the fairways, greens, and tee boxes I was totally impressed with the comfort level right out of the box. I really do n't think these require a break- in period and I believe they will get even better after a few rounds. Traction and stability are absolutely the best. I wear a size 10. 5 W with most sneaker type golf shoes but I would recommend sizing down 1/2 size. If you are able to try these on in the store do so. It's really the best way to get the most out of a pair of FootJoys. A correct fitting is crucial.
