I got 4 or 5 seasons out of my previous Foot Joy shoe, the Helix D. N. A., so I was only buying Foot Joy this time. Seeing as I knew I wanted another pair, and that I wanted to replace them with a top of the line version, the FJ Pro/SLX Carbon's were my top choice. I have worn them about 4 times now, and feet feel fresh after each use, not tired. They come standard with Orthopedic insoles, so I have yet to buy a pair of Pine Valley Orthotics, like I had with my DNS's. For me, these are the perfect shoe. Great looks and great comfort. The price is a little on the higher side, sure, but if you treat them well, you 'll get several season out of them.

I was looking for a comfortable shoe that gives the old school classic look with updated comfort. This shoe does just that. First day out on the course I wore these, I walked 18 holes and I am very positive I could have walked another 18 with no issues. These shoes are very comfortable and definitely worth getting. Putting these shoes on is like sliding into a warm bath. Spend the extra money for the leather it's definitely worth it. My last pair of Footjoys lasted me 25 years. The only reason I stopped wearing them was because the soles came off. The only small complaint I would have is getting the fit just right. I went back and forth between a 12 and an 11 1/2 for over an hour and finally settled on a 12 but wore them once and now I 'm thinking they 're a little loose on the back. I may have to return them for size 11 1/2. I hear Footjoy has a 30 day return policy. My experience with Footjoys is they are the number on e shoe in golf for 1 reason. Quality
