We have had this sled for about 6 years and it is great. It is the best sled we have ever had. It is super fast down the slopes and has great handling. People says it breaks but we have jumped on it to get speed down a hill and yet, nothing breaks. We like its design and at night you can see it well. Recommend you watch the weight limit. It is about 150 lbs. If you go over the limit it eventually will break and that is the reason people give bad reviews on it.

This is a great winter sled option for older kids. We bought it last year for my twelve year old but really all of us took turns using it. Even my husband who is 5 ’ 10 ” and 180 pounds had fun using it. This year my son is 4 ’ 11 ” and 85 pounds and it is his favorite outdoor winter “ toy ”. He has not even pulled out his other, more expensive sleds but he used this for hours yesterday on snow and today in our icy backyard he and hi buddy took turns for over an hour today. I just know this is going to last years in- line the plastic ones I constantly break. Set up is easy, it ’s just a tube in a cover but you will need a compressor or bike pump! Your lungs won ’ t do the job. This comes with nice handles to hold on to, a rope to pull it along with, and a NICE base. The base is very thick and hard! This thing is going to fly when sledding and I won ’ t have to worry about bumps or rocks because I won ’ t feel them with the premium bottom. I hunt in the timber and button willow brakes of Louisiana in knee to waist deep water. Very tough wading with lots of limbs and obstacles. I was concerned how stable the sled would be while floating in that depth with gear and did n't see any such reviews. Glad to report it worked flawlessly. Hauled in a dozen decoys, floating mojo and several guns/thermos/bags etc this morning. Hauled out same stuff plus 24 ducks. Never even came close to tipping and handled weight very well. Also pulled well on land. This is far better than carrying everything and much easier to handle than pirogue or jon boat. Perfect solution for us. Highly recommend.

This sled has a very hard shell and nice roll over edges. Used it totting gear through a swamp to our duck blind. Held everything we needed going in and our ducks and gear coming out. It did not dip in the water when pulled or when the weight was unbalanced, keeping everything upright and dry. The camouflage pattern was great for concealing the sled in the blind. We recommend this size for versatility, the magnum is nice but a little to large and the smaller version is to small for any amount of gear.

Extremely versatile sled that is set up for push/pull at multiple heights straight out of the box. sturdy design, which does include bolt- on sled covers on the bottom contrary to some of the other reviews( although i 'm not certain they can be replaced). feels very sturdy and should last a long time. I am using this outside on the grass with no issues. harness included is good quality. if you have a handle of some sort that can easily be attached as well for increased versatility with the product. i am planning on using the included caribiners as make-- shift TRX trainer as well. Highly recommend!

We received a Burley Encore for Christmas and purchased the Ski Kit shortly thereafter to use with our( then- 9- month- old) son this winter. It is such a blast! The kit is easy to attach to the trailer and our son stayed nice and warm inside. In fact, every time we used it, he fell asleep INSTANTLY-- I think the white noise from the skis on the snow helped, as did the rhythmic motion! It was quite easy to pull, as well( though, as to be expected, hills are more challenging). We even took this kit out onto a lake while we were ice skating! Overall, this was such an amazing investment that really allowed us to share our love of winter with our little man. I highly recommend it and ca n't wait to use it again next winter!
