If you live somewhere with 90+ degree weather all summer, you know that most mountain bike shoes are not made for breathability aside from XC shoes which are in general better ventilated. These are a great option for hot weather riding. I think they could apply a lot of the engineering of this show to the hellcat pro and make a knockout trail shoe. The lacing is much more effective on shoes with flexible uppers than typical mountain bike shoes that have become like stiff plastic over the past 10 years. Runs long... I bought a half size down( 11 vs 11. 5) after trying my normal size.

They are very comfortable and the stiffness of the sole has eliminated some plantar pain I was developing with my old shoes. The only objection is that the velcro straps are just barely long enough( I have wide feet).
