I was told I could use baseball batting gloves too, but I wanted something more fitness oriented. The fingertip `` swipe pads '' I thought were a joke, until i actually used them. I suggest trying them on before buying, I ended up buying a smaller size than i thought for a more snug fit. and the padding in the palms and materials are good.

I have out grown the weights provided with the glove. So I replace them. But over a couple of years the heavier weight, and frequent use tore apart the gloves. Time to replace them.

Felt a little awkward at first( thumb hold and wedges between), but quickly gotten use to. Would have given perfect score but only used for a few months and have loose random threads and such.

I use these for general aerobic workouts to add a slight bit of resistance to my arms. Walking, jump roping, cardio kickboxing, even Zumba. The best part is that I can take the little weights out of the pocket so that I can wash the casing( pic). I have pretty bad arthritis in my thumbs. So, I just do n't use the thumb holes( pic). They feel comfortable to me that way. I had a pair before these that lasted me over 10 years. Eventually the finger loops started wearing out. So, I ordered these. The finger loops on these look even more sturdy. They 'll last a LONG time. Only reason I took a star away was because it was n't comfortable with my thumbs IN the holes.

I lift weights 4- 5x per week and use these gloves. I am on my second pair of Diamond- Tac gloves. The first pair has lasted me about a year and still has some mileage left. The Diamond- Tacs are all you need and as I said, I am on my second pair. Enough said. Go get'em and go lift.
