The Softspikes provide good traction. Not sure about the life as I have only played a few rounds since installation. I owned a Bushnell but I unfortunately lost it 😕 Because I have a Garmin S62 I especially love the Garmin Approach Z30. I love the fact that it pairs to my watch and give me the information from the scope to my watch while showing the green and pin placement. The red color of the display is perfect and much easier to read. The Bushnell did lock onto a target a little quicker than the Garmin. If you have a slightly wide foot, do not get the regular size, it will destroy you. I 've worn these 5 times and walked a full 18 each time. I thought they would break in, but after 5 rounds, I ca n't wear them anymore. If you play really flat courses you might be fine, but if youre walking up and downhill a lot make sure to get the wide version. These have everything you 'll look for in a good rain boot, warm, very waterproof, and with the right size and width they would be very comfortable. I hope this review helps someone out there because I wish I had a heads up!
