There are 2 major benefits to me from the puttin target: 1. When the practice green at the golf course already has 3 golfers putting to every hole, I just throw this down and have my own private pre- game practice area! 2. When practicing putting to a real hole, it ’s difficult to assess the exact pace of the putts that “ go in ”( did the ball barely trickle to the hole or would it have gone 6 feet by?). With this putting it easy to practice hitting putts that go an exact distance by the hole. Love it!

Bought this to play with the kids in the yard and in the green spaces around the neighborhood. It's really fun, we 've used it every day for a few weeks. Two downsides. One, I question the durability a little. I 've been keeping it in the garage but the plastic bits of this wo n't last more than a few summers I bet. Two, the plastic chains means that you can throw a great shot, but the chains are so light it bounces out. I think I 'd `` hole '' more shots from distance if they were heavier duty. I might replace them with steel.

Using any impact bag requires proper technique. There are many reviews by users who repoprt `` stitchinig separated '' after a few swings. First off these bags will not hold up to a full on golf swing. Secondly, you impact the bag more with the shaft first in the CENTER area of the bag with a moderate and less than full swing impact. One of of the uses of the bag and to learn to hit the ball with proper shaft lean with a moderate version of your real swing. Hitting the bag in the bottom portion( as if you were actually trying to hit a ball) with an aggressive swing will ALWAYS cause the stitching to break. I use this bag the way it was intended to be used( impact somewhere in the Yellow area), shaft leading the club face and have no issues. It's not a golf ball!! Hitting the Yellow area with the CLUB FACE first is not only the wrong way to swing, it will eventually tear/rip the impacted area with an aggressive swing. Reviews stating the product will not hold up should be ignored because the approach which causes this to happen is flawed. Impact bags, when used properly, are a great training aid!

I saw this on sale at Golf Galaxy and picked it up. I figured I 'd use it as another putting tool when not using my 8' x 1' putting mat, raised ramp hole, etc... This is very stable, has a little gripping surface on the bottom, so it wo n't move on a livingroom carpet. The coolest thing about it is, the push- in rubber plug. Leave it flush with the plastic ramp, and the ball goes up the ramp and come back down to you. Push in the little plug, and with `` just the right touch ''... the ball will go up the ramp and stop right in the little hole where the plug is. The width is exactly the same as a real golf course hole.. 4¼ inches... and provides countless ways to practice putting!

I have been using this net every day for the last three to four months. It is an excellent net. In fact, it is such a good net that I bought two more Nets for my other house and office( I can sneak out back on my office and hit golf balls). I 've been hitting everything from driver down to 60- degree wedge. The 7 by 7 area is a very big area. So do not think that it is too small the net. Bought this kit after giving up on cheaper nets and mats. I want to be able to hit real balls, mostly indoors in my basement gym, or on my back patio- this has been perfect for that so far. The$ 100ish nets topple without anchors or rip too easy with real balls and foam ones are bs. The net ’s base is really sturdy, which is essential for hitting indoors. It will bounce balls back at you, but that is to be expected when you ’ re hitting into a net on a hard floor. They just roll back at you 99% of the time, with the occasional bouncer. Let ’s be real though, don ’ t crush real golf balls into an indoor net and expect to never cut one loose every now and then. I would also recommend not using anything larger than a 3 wood indoors, unless you have a lot of space. You need a solid 3- 4ft of wiggle room to be able to hit the sweet spot of the net. Unless you have a full garage or something like that, you ’ ll be a little limited. You ’ ll probably be too close to the net, and your shots will hit too low so they ’ ll bounce off the ground more. If I ’ m hitting irons, I never have a problem though. The target also takes a lot of speed off the ball, so if you aren ’ t hacking your shots, you should be good. So far this has been the most effective investment I ’ ve made in my game. I really like the target too for tactile feedback, it gives me a good sense of where my shots are going. Sets up/breaks down in 5 minutes so I have no excuses anymore, it ’s really easy to go hit a few balls throughout my day( essential for wfh life too). I ’ m hitting actual balls every day now, and that ’s definitely helping. My only gripe is the mat is really small, I just sprung for a 4x5. It works, but I don ’ t love the mental image it gives you. The shagger is awesome though, I can ’ t believe I went this long without having one. It ’s definitely improved my focus too because I ’ m not chasing balls around.
