I own 3 of these and I can assure you. They 're waterproof. I use one for our First Aid kit cause you need those items dry. The others are open to anything we need dry. They 're also good for dry, dusty conditions. Several sizes.

I bought this box about a month ago and have used it a couple of times in boat. I like the trays and weight of the box, not as heavy as the mafia boxes but it seems pretty sturdy. I filled mine with my chatterbaits and its perfect, nothing moves out of the trays even when upside down. I really like them and plan on replacing all my other boxes with these.

We bought this so we had extra storage when we moved and we were able to pack quite a bit of things in it. If you 've never driven with a rooftop cargo box it does change the aerodynamics of your car/van. You also have to make sure you already have crossbars to install it on but other than that, it is super easy to set up. Overall we are very pleased with it.
