[ I bought this for my son to use on a college ski trip. I 've had one for years and it works great! When skiing alone, I can fit my skis, poles, boots, helmet and a small duffle bag in the tube. After that, I can usually just get by with a carry on bag for my other stuff. Easily holds two sets of skis and poles with a little extra room as well. It can hold 3 sets of skis, but unless they are kids skis, you will likely be over the 50 pound airline limit. I also recommend using a zip tie to fasten the latch to the tube so TSA does n't lose it.

The hard case provides the required level of protection to prevent skis from getting banged up while the airlines sling luggage on and off a plane. Soft cases are not well suited for the type of abuse the airlines subject luggage to. You will be very happy if you purchase this product!

I have one of these. It is massive. It is solid as well. I think I 've accidentally bumped the top of against a ceiling at least 4 or 5 times and not a scratch on it, no dents or cracks either. I have been able to fit an absolute ton of stuff in it. Aerodynamic? Sort of. It will reduce your MPGs by at least 4- 5mpg on the highway. But you are getting a super huge place to store items. Rugged, built well. If you do n't abuse it, it will last.

We bought this for a road trip from Colorado to Wisconsin and back. It exceeded our expectations! It took maybe 10 minutes to set up on my 2019 Nissan Rogue. We checked the bolts during stops and there were a few times we had to tighten them, but they were never loose enough that it would fall off. We could fit 3 carry- on luggage suitcases with plenty of extra room. Also want to note that we went through some pretty gnarly thunderstorms( so bad that we had to pull over) and this thing kept everything perfectly dry. Highly recommend this product!
