I just purchased the black paisley hightops for my boyfriends birthday and he wears them everyday to the gym. He has a flat foot and needs all the ankle support he can get as a body builder, so these babies were the perfect addition to his pulled up `` vans '' ankle socks! lol I must admit though, the man definitely pulls the look off so dont be surprised if you start seeing a trend- setting of body builders with their hightop vans and pulled up matching socks at your local gyms!:) FYI: keep in mind that his foot is very narrow and flat so his ext room may have been bc of how narrow his feet are and the only option was the WideD..
