I use the hot water from my automatic espresso machine and throw in 8 tea bags( Celestial Seasonings- without the staple and paper tag) and let it soak for 10 minutes. The cup does hols cold water for a long period of time. The cup can be used with or without the straw. when the cup is filled with ice and your drink of choice, it does get a little heavy to hold. There is no handle.

Great product! I love that it ’s made of quality stainless steel and not plastic. The only pain point is there is no measuring label on top of the pour over but then it would probably be made of plastic. But I just use a measuring cup for the amount of water I need for the cup I am using. Great job Yeti!
