Besides simply taking instant coffee, this is the lightest way to brew a cup of joe in the backcountry. Weighing a mere. 4oz, the mesh filter is fine and easy to clean, and the plastic arms attach to cups and pots easily. One suggestion I have is to use a very fine grind, and even consider using a filter as well; the grounds need ample time to percolate and using a filter helps slow the brew, otherwise it kind of just pours through. I love having this addition, if you bring fresh ground beans and use this it makes a great cup. Recommended.

Finally got it and me and my girlfriend were so excited to try it and we did in our back yard made some smores and some hot tea over the fire. It ’s so easy to clean and also wow amazing to carry around fits everywhere. Really keeps the tea pretty hot so goood quality for sure!

Love this French press. The first 2 times I used it, there were a few grounds in the coffee but that has stopped and I grind the coffee pretty fine. Like any French press it makes an amazing pot of coffee. Plus it keeps it hot. We got it for camping but it has made its way into the house. We will need to get another one for camping. It was a great find!

Awesome French press. Coffee will stay hot for hours if you let it. But after sitting for 5- 10 mins it is smoking hot, and the taste is always terrific. I will get a few grounds into my cup, but no biggy.
