I love this thing. It's a bit pricey for what it is, but it works well when used properly. All the kids on my team love to use it and seem to immediately transfer the swing action developed with this directly to live pitching. A team that hits to to bottom will be hard to stop! I do question the durability of this however. It does n't have a good sturdy feel to it. Hopefully it's deceptively strong because for this price I 'd like this trainer to last a couple years until the adult model is necessary.

If you are good in any thing but hitting then you should get this hitting system and not get a tee because this will help you get a feel for where the ball would be opposed to having the ball in the worst spot to swing at. I love the hit a way! It's great to strap up on a tree, basketball hoop or any other pole! Best to use a practice bat so you do n't wear out your bat, but it definitely helps your swing! If you leave it outside then it will wear after a season or two but thats the only drawback!

Using any impact bag requires proper technique. There are many reviews by users who repoprt `` stitchinig separated '' after a few swings. First off these bags will not hold up to a full on golf swing. Secondly, you impact the bag more with the shaft first in the CENTER area of the bag with a moderate and less than full swing impact. One of of the uses of the bag and to learn to hit the ball with proper shaft lean with a moderate version of your real swing. Hitting the bag in the bottom portion( as if you were actually trying to hit a ball) with an aggressive swing will ALWAYS cause the stitching to break. I use this bag the way it was intended to be used( impact somewhere in the Yellow area), shaft leading the club face and have no issues. It's not a golf ball!! Hitting the Yellow area with the CLUB FACE first is not only the wrong way to swing, it will eventually tear/rip the impacted area with an aggressive swing. Reviews stating the product will not hold up should be ignored because the approach which causes this to happen is flawed. Impact bags, when used properly, are a great training aid!

Weather you leave it in your haul bag while free climb, or clip it to your harness to nail those pitons, this hammer if the essential gear if you adventure up a big wall. Don ’ t expect a light hammer though. This hammer has enough weight to effectively drive pitons in, and the narrow shape of the head is very useful to hammer them in narrow corners. Mine came with an extra sling, which was nice.

I got my first YO in the early 90 ’s. It was the cast head and it didn ’ t measure up to my frequent wall partner ’s Deucey A5 hammer. After I stopped new route development mid 2000 ’s I sold the YO with a bunch of other gear. After no luck trying to find an A5 I took a look at the new forged YO. This new hammer has the heft and feel that the cast version could never match. I like the longer tangs but the aggressive tapering of the handle seems excessive. Thanks for making the only true wall hammer available today.

Have used this tee for two weeks for 8u softball hitting drills. So far so good. Base could be heavier but it is a very sturdy tee. As long as they hit the ball off the tee and not the tee from under the ball it stays in place well. Time will tell but for now very pleased.

[ Wow, I was surprised at the quality of this hatchet. It has a nice weight to it, just enough that it ’s light enough to still easily use to chop wood.
