My son needed a new grip tape for his baseball bat. He wanted to try the hockey grip as Bobby Witt Jr mentioned he uses it and it feels grippier. My son says it feels better than baseball grips.

I bought a case of 24 clear tape for hockey as I use it for every practice and game. When you break it down it is less than$ 3 a roll which is a big difference compared to my local hockey rink which sells them for$ 4. 50 a roll. I will definitely be picking up another case. The tape quality is good not great. Howes or Canadian tape I would say is better but for the price point it doesn ’ t really make a difference.

A hockey stick wrap is a protective covering that is applied to the shaft of a hockey stick to enhance grip and control during play. It can also provide additional cushioning and protection against wear and tear. Many players use wraps to customize the feel of their stick and improve their overall performance on the ice.
Hockey stick wraps are typically made from various materials such as polymer, cloth, or rubber. These materials are chosen for their durability, grip, and ability to withstand the rigors of gameplay. The choice of material can affect the feel and performance of the stick, making it important for players to consider their preferences.
When selecting a hockey stick wrap, consider factors such as grip texture, thickness, and durability. Players may prefer different wraps based on their playing style, whether they prioritize comfort, control, or protection. It's also helpful to think about the conditions in which you'll be playing, as some wraps perform better in specific environments.
Yes, hockey stick wraps can be used for various types of hockey, including ice hockey and street hockey. The choice of wrap may depend on the specific demands of the game, such as the level of grip needed on different surfaces. Players should select a wrap that complements their playing style and the type of hockey they participate in.
Hockey stick wraps can significantly impact a player's performance by improving grip and control over the stick. A well-chosen wrap can enhance shooting accuracy and puck handling, allowing players to execute their moves more effectively.
