I used the method of measuring her foot in cm and comparing it to a chart on the Jackson website, and the result was a perfect fit.( Ultimately, it was one full size below her normal street shoe size.) She loves the style of the skate, especially the silver accents, and they were the highlight of her birthday.

My daughter use this for ice skating lessons and its perfect! Takes some time to break it in, just like any other shoes, but after that it works and functions real well for ice skating lessons. It's well padded and generally well made real leather boots with poly coating. Just like all other new skating boots, its blades needs to be sharpened before first time use. Note that the street shoe size is different from skating shoe sizes. For online buyers, follow the Jackson size chart- my 9year old daughter's feet measures 9 inches, we got the 5. 5 in `` women ice skate boot size ''( with half size allowance for thick socks) and it's perfect fit. Highly recommend.
