It even has a little label area where you can put your name( I used it to slip in directions). I would defintiely recommend as it makes it easier to bring something for the holidays, bbqs, or if your are dropping off a meal to a friend.

It kept my food warm for several hours. If I ’ m carrying two casseroles or heavy stuff on top I usually cut a piece of cardboard and put aluminum foil to fit on the bottom of the top compartment to make it a little stiffer. Very well made!!
