I ordered Oxford dress shoes I saw my order confirmed for Oxford PTC. I liked how the PTC looked so I did not complain about it. When I get new shoe I usually have to buy a thicker foam insoles. I had to do that with this pair of shoes as well. I like how well I can walk all day in these shoes. Usually I buy hard toe shoes, but I am experimenting with the bumper toe. These are pretty solid work shoes. I have had a pair now for a few years and they are still going strong. My work gives us all an allowance for work shoes/boots and I bought another pair of these because they 're so dependable. But to be honest, the pair I currently have do n't really need replacing yet. They 're still holding up just fine. No tears, rips, or weak points. The leather is thick and has held up very well over the years. The tread is wearing slowly as well. On top of all that, they are comfortable. These have a lot of years of service left in them. I think the only way these can be improved is by reducing the weight. They are a little heavy on my feet, which can be attributed to the steel toe. If these were composite toe, they would be a perfect work shoe.

I took my new Keen flip flops to the coast this weekend and my toes are happy! In the jeep, around town, at the beach, and on the boat the new flops fit the bill. Thank goodness they now make these in wide. I tried a size up in the normal width sandal and it was awful. These fit great once broken in. At first, I thought they were a tad tight, but after days of wearing them not a problem anymore.

I loved the look of these sandals and KEEN said they are fit for adventure, so I wore them on a hike to a waterfall in Costa Rica. The hike was advertised as “ moderate ” and I thought my new shoes would be perfect for the job without them getting beat up, silly me. I would say a Costa Rican “ moderate ” is an American “ strenuous. ” We were going down stairs that were rickety boards nailed into trees, climbing over huge vines, sliding on muddy or alternately rocky terrain. And the actual rope guideline to drag yourself against a savage current and hoist yourself up on boulders to get to the waterfall was a struggle to say the least. Not only did my Rose Sandals get me there and back, but they dried quickly, looked brand new and I was able to wear them out to dinner later that evening. And two years later they still look brand new!

This is my third pair. I wear the new ones for work three seasons, older ones for casual, and the oldest for gardening. Fit my 75 year old high insteps. More comfortable for daily wear than Hokas for me. BTW my winter work shoes are Targhees too.

Great that it has the toe box covered, comfortable for walking longer distances over varying terrain. Dries quickly after getting wet. Will just give some odd tan lines given the hole placement if you care about that.

Very happy with these. Much easier to get on and off than my old original Keens with a new enclosure design, and they still cinch up fairly tight. I would normally get a 11 in a Newport, got 10. 5 in these sandals.

I have plantar fasciitis in my left foot and I am pretty much constantly in pain. I read in an article that these Keen sandals help with plantar fasciitis and offer enough support to the arch to prevent further injury. I ’ ve worn these sandals everyday for two weeks and I no longer have to limp at the end of my work day. When I get up in the morning, my foot isn ’ t in excruciating pain. I am a believer. My Keen canvas Howsers were getting a little worn so I decided to try a new, different pair. I liked the look and style of this shoe and as luck would have it they were on sale. I ordered my normal size 11. When they arrived they were just a tad too short. Keen makes it easy to return and I ordered a size 11. 5 and they arrived and fit perfect!! Note that these are a tight fitting shoe so getting them on takes a little effort but once they are on they are VERY comfortable. I like the material on these better than the canvas on the Howsers. Overall a very nice casual shoe!
