I have a smaller head, and even adult size small can be too big for me. This children's size large sun hat is great. It is light weight, quality fabric, adjustable, and I like that it has a string so if it gets windy it stays on. The brim covers enough to keep the sun off. I live in Florida. These are the best hats for active outdoor loving redheads. This is maybe the 9th bucket hat we 've ordered. The small works great for our 1 year old. Our almost 5 year old is now in a large. I highly recommend these hats, functional, cute, and my kids keep them on.
