My son( 11yrs old) plays WR/RB and was happy that he could lift his arms up with easy and didnt feel restricted when catching passes and feeling comfort knowing he has padding to take and give hits. Very happy with the quality. The ease of putting them on is great too, he always struggled with getting a snug fit with the pads with belt loops and also the ones with snap in life jacket type buckles he pinched his skin a few times. Highly recommend these. The extra perk in buying these is being able to choose the color padding, not needed but nice feature. While others pay$$ a lot for visual `` swag '', I like to put extra$ into protection and comfort.

Bought these shoulder pads for my youngest because of the design. Outside of their outstanding appearance, the internal pad configuration is not like anything else available on the market. Great care was taken to include air channel on all pad surfaces up against the body to keep players cool. Nice work Legion design team! My son wore these for the last two seasons. Previous pads were Xenith's and Schutt and my son felt these were an upgrade from both. The other two he only wore one season and these were the only one's he wore for consecutive seasons. We just upgraded with the same pads for a larger size to complement his growth.
