I haven ’ t been able to utilize yet in the winter but the elastic waist is much stronger than LL Bean ’s supplex shorts since they went to China for production, and at lesser cost.. Hopefully the longevity will be as good as theirs. I ’ ve been looking for a good replacement. I believe these will be much better. I ’ ve washed and still retain form. [ These shorts are great for everyday wear, the gym, or even just lounging. Love the comfortable boxer brief lining as well which seems supportive while also very breathable. I find the 7 ” inseam to be perfect for showing a bit of thigh but not feeling like it is too short that I need to pull my shorts down on my hips. I think my favorite element by far is the back pocket which comes in handy often for my phone or wallet. Personally I would love 2 back pockets, but I will settle for 1.
