I bought these early in January when rumors of a snowstorm started swirling around. I also bought them for my son to use for track. They helped a little with the snow( they are not waterproof), but they are perfect for track. They are not bulky, so they do n't get in the way if he puts them in his pocket, and they fit him like a glove. We could n't find the gray ones, but the black ones did, as promised.

These seem to accommodate the majority of my thumb 's range of motion and are reinforced where I typically end up tearing gloves. I am hopeful that these will last me a decade or more.
