If you are looking for shorts to do activities in that will be good in wet or dry conditions, these should do the trick. They have an integrated liner like a swimming suit and are made of material that would dry quickly. The material is a little heavier than other all conditions shorts I have had, but that is probably good if you intend to go hiking. They should not easily snag or tear.
