in General, A+ Irons, I think key aspect for anyone with a low- mid club head speed looking for distance, accuracy, and an unmatched Mizuno feel. I gamed the 923's last year after extensive market testing and claimed they could n't be beaten from a distance, accuracy, and feel standpoints. I was wrong... The most notable differences for me were the tungsten weighting in the newer 925s 7i- 4i really does help with getting longer irons off the grounds better than the 923s. If in conclusion, I would highly recommend, but I would tell a younger more budget conscious version of myself to stick with the 923s, as I only saw slight improvements in sets year over year.

I moved from the JPX Hot Metal 919s because the grooves on the short irons were worn out. I resisted buying the JPX 921 or the 923 because I absolutely loved the 919s; but it was finally time to move on. I bought the JPX 925s with UST Mamiya Recoil DART shaft F3. I do not use senior shafts as they are much too light. I play three times a week. My average score is 82. I play from the 5, 800 tee box as I am 78 years old. What I do n't like about the 925s. Too much offset. Too strongly lofted. The new technology with regard to face thickness and the resulting extra distance is not enhanced with stronger lofts. The stronger loft results in a loss of accuracy and an inability to hold the green. I have never needed offset as my typical miss is left because of over active hands. The offset on this clubs, though not as great as other game improvement clubs does cause me to miss more often than I did with the 919s. The offset and resulting left miss is most pronounced in the wedges P G S. What I liked about the 925s: Crazy distance with all irons. At least 20 yards over my old 919s. Feel is good which is typical of Mizuno. Forgiveness/distance of off- center hits is amazing. Short iron impart a nice amount of spin. For me, these clubs come in at four stars.

I ’ ve had these irons for a month and I really, really love them. An upgrade from my 921HM. Granted I had the wrong shaft in my previous set, DG105, had trouble getting them up in the air. I opted for the Nippon 950Neo on the new HMP after a Mizuno fitting at GG. A little lighter and higher launching, combined with hotter face and slightly stronger loft equals a dream set of irons for me. Nothing feels like a Mizuno. Can ’ t recommend more. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

These irons are pure. As a 13 Handicap, there are a great blend of forgiveness and workability for mid handicappers.

I purchased these irons to complement my jpx923 hm pros from 6- pw. The 4- 5 iron in the 925 hm pro are both workable on solid strikes and forgiving on bad ones. These clubs have brought my GIR percentage up 75% on med/long par 3 ’s. This is an area of my game where I was inconsistent before buying these clubs and quickly has become one of the most fun!

The clubs are great and feel great but was very saddened to have them arrive with no wrapping or anything. The metal clubs dinged each other during the whole 3 day shipping by fed ex. Golf galaxy also refused to exchange the iron set for a new one even though it was their mistake not wrapping the clubs. Pretty frustrating they do not have an exchange policy for mistakes as silly as not wrapping a brand new set of$ 1000 irons.

I bought these a month ago and paired w the project x io shaft and my game has been elevated. Would not say these are good fit for beginners but as someone who ’s played 2- 3 yrs and solid contact these were perfect clubs to grow into. I was surprised how forgiving they are and nothing beats that sweet spot feel, it makes me want to golf daily

This is my first time on blades, and Mizuno has made it a experience and an easy transition. I also transitioned to graphite shafts. When pured, I 'm getting about 15 yds more per club. The irons just feel nicer for me than any other club that I 've hit. These are beautiful clubs. Strongly recommend trying them.

Longest 3 weeks of my life waiting for them to arrive, but it was well worth the wait. Instantly hitting the ball 10- 15 yards further/straighter. I highly recommend the Mizuno hot metals to any high handicap players.

I am a 3- 4 handicap and hate the look feel of forged irons/blades. These irons still have awesome feel and can easily shape the ball. Definitely recommend especially if you want a little extra ball flight

I ’ m at least a 30 handicap. These feel amazing. I don ’ t like feeling the ball of the face. It want to feel soft, and these mixed with the graphite shafts are amazing. I had graphites with my PXG and I will never play anything else. I ’ ve played with ping i525 as well. If you want forgiving soft feeling irons. These are it. I played my best round of my life with them. I personally think anyone who ’s a high handicap shouldn ’ t play anything less than a 6 irons. I got 6- G, and play with a 3H and 4H. I was hesitant getting these because I suck at golf. But I ’ m thrilled I did. Love them.
