Fits exactly as described…I went up a size to get a slightly looser feel( I wear these tops for MMA and HIIT). Shoulder construction allows you to move with no binding/pinching. Flat lock seams don ’ t rub or chafe. The length is enough to tuck in or leave out without it ridding up. Material is slick and breathable…I would prefer it to be a bit thicker. Dries fast and hold up well to weekly washings( cold and hang dry… my 2 year old shirts look as good as my 2 week old ones). Definitely worth the money.

As other reviewers indicated, go 2 sizes larger. One size larger and it will be doing it's job as intended as a compression garment. Even at 2 sizes, I need help to escape from it. I am using it for dance competitions, so have to alter it for no logos showing. UA, you are missing an entire market that needs high quality garments without logos. It is great for showing every ripple. FYI: Tight body fit garments are never cool. Athlete's generate a lot of heat and trapping it at the skin does not help. I do n't understand how this marketing verbiage ever makes it to the public.

If I had to choose one thing to nitpick, it would be that if you choose to go up a size, the length of the shirt might be a bit long. I did go for size S, which I usually go for so I believe this is really true to size too! It is breathable and that definitely makes work out itself more enjoyable. [ I 've been a big fan of Dri Fit for years and this product holds up to that legacy. The fabric at this point is so soft that I forget I 'm wearing training apparel and not a normal shirt. It's form fitting for the size without making you feel suffocated. I wore mine for my workouts in my garage as well as a few outdoor cardio sessions. The material breathes well enough to keep me cool in a stuffy garage but also retained heat well enough to keep my body warm on an outdoor jog. I 'm not a heavy sweater but the wicking did seem to hold up very well during more intense sessions and did n't leave me with a wet sticky shirt like some other options can. The shirt is also simple and comfortable enough to just be thrown on casually and worn while you go about your daily errands. 5 '' 9. 5 at 163 lbs. I am maybe 10% body fat so pretty lean w/ muscular build. Shirt fits like a glove, honestly I probably could do a L but I got M and it still fits pretty well. I have minor chest fat and this shirt does a great job of conceling that make completents the chest area nicely. After I recieved I got the long sleeve version and will be buying more soon!

This shirt is fantastic. It ’s basically just a much needed upgrade version of the 1/2 zip elements. What I mean by that is the material is soft and comfortable and stretchy. The shirt also has a mesh ’s area running on the bottom of the arm that goes along the whole sleeve which is nice to help with cooling off. Also it seems to be lighter than the elements which helps it be a better choice to wear on warmer days. Hope these stick around and get more colors. I definitely recommend these especially if you were a fan of the 1/2 zip elements.

[ I have always worn tshirts, maybe a hoody in the gym but I 've always seen people wearing quarter zip long sleeve tops. Since trying this I know why. It's getting colde and a tshirt is n't enough, but I do n't want to wear a jacket. The Nike Dri- FIT Academy top is perfect for keeping warm but not getting hot. It's stretchy and breathable, and because it's Dri- FIT it dries quickly. The fit is great, not baggy but it's not skin tight either. The fabric is stretchy and moves with you, great for the gym. The design is nice and simple which I like. The only thing I would change is the colour, even though I like it, I 'd probably get black next time.
