Bought these as my first spikes, and I have to say that the quality is amazing. The upper is of fantastic breathability and comfort, although I must say that the tongue is paper thin. If you ask me, it's probably meant as a measure to keep the weight down. The midsole looks to be a supercritically foamed PEBA& EVA formulation of Fuelcell. It is particularly remarkable that this spike has even a morsel of PEBA, considering the price point it is set at. The bright sort of teal colors are very nice in reality, more so than online. I particularly noticed the sheer rubber coverage that NB was able to manage while still being light as a feather. Great spike in almost every area and I 100% would recommend. Thanks, New Balance!

Bought the black one and the gray of these 990v6 style, mainly because I have been looking for alternative from other basic sneaker brands that have been trending to be more cheap and more uncomfortable. I am aware that NB used to be made in the USA brand from what I have read, however just like many brands such has n't been the case, however when I saw these made in the USA ones, I have to have them( based on my experience, anything made in the USA or any reputable and not a cheap labor factory, is usually very well made and attention is paid to the crucial details.) So since this is the first time being the NB brand, I bought the gray ones first, and from the get go, it was comfortable, and am usually on my feet from 12- 14 hours, and these shoes were phenomenal. No discomfort, no pain, and feel like I am wearing the sneakers, instead of the sneakers wearing me, meaning I am not reminded that I have something on, as there is no discomfort reminding me these shoes are on my feet. So needless to say, bought the black ones and the same. Moreover the bonus, literally every time I am wearing these sneakers the compliments are literally flowing, and some commenting that they are going to look into buying these sneakers. Which is interesting, as I am not used to so many( I am talking about 2, 3 4 times per day) compliments over sneakers, nevertheless it is nice, and specially since these are made here in the USA. So needless to say, I am now looking to buy the blue ones.

I wear these on casual training runs. 3 to 15 miles. A mix of zone 2 and tempo work. They ’ re not as soft and they don ’ t have as much of a rocker. They do feel light and responsive though. I ’ ve cut 10 minutes of my half marathon time in one year mostly training in these. I race in Super Comp Elites. I ’ m on my second pair. I have wide feet. I ’ m a 4E and the Wide fits me perfect. The Rebel V4 does seem to lose responsiveness at the 200 mile mark.
