Great durable waders, the padding on the knees are great for low profile casting near spooky fish. Only downside I can find is I wish it had more belt loops going forward so I didn ’ t have to re- set it every time and so I can carry a holster.

I ’ ve used these three times and like them a lot. They replaced an old pair of waist high hunting waders that had started to leak. They ’ re comfortable to get around in, though a bit long. The cuffs and reinforced knees are great features. Pockets are handy but not bulky. Belt needs loops. Quality seems excellent. I only use them in winter so I hope they last a long time.

I just received your waders and I have to say these are my favorite waders that I own. The fit is excellent and the padded shoulder pads are very comfortable. I do a lot of fishing on my knees when the water is low and clear to keep a low profile and the knee pads work great. This is the first pair of waders I 've had to buy in 15 years an OH BOY what an upgrade. They 've seen a handful of trips since purchase. When it was 65F outside they did not feel hot; when it was 28F outside this last weekend with a base layer under they felt just warm enough standing in the middle of a river. I really like the external knee pads-- scrambling up and down slightly sketchy canyons to try and catch a trout, sharp rocks were just one less thing to worry about. The chest pockets are also well placed for easy access. I like that the guards that go over your boots do n't have a hook on them but instead fit tight enough onto the boot themselves to hold strong without me noticing. Zero hesitations in recommending these for anyone looking to stand in a river and slay trout.

I have owned many waders over the past 40 years and these are by far the best well made and quality waders that I have ever owned. They are durable, comfortable and keep my dry. I am a big guy@ 280 pounds 5 ’ 11 ” and these waders fit me just fine, little long on the inseam but you can ’ t have everything. I fish over 6 weeks per year will get tons of use out of these.

These are the best waders on the planet. Mine are the previous version introduced in 2018. They fit like no other wader and they perform like no other wader. I have never had a leak. I had them customised with a different bootie size for a modest additional charge. My advice is don ’ t sit down on anything with spikes and don ’ t march through any bushes with spikes. That seems like common sense to me. Superb waders. I anticipate writing an equally positive review of my waders in several years time. Worth every penny( I live and fish in Scotland) or cent.

I am a fish biologist in Washington State and wear waders pretty much two thirds of the year conducting stream and river surveys. I have owned several pairs of Simms waders and love the durability, flexibility, and breathability of the G3's. They are surprisingly rugged and have held up bushwhacking through blackberries, salmonberries and devils club, which can shred lesser waders.

I had the previous generation Freestone Waders and they took 3 years of abuse, 3- 4 days a week on the water and exceeded my expectations. I recently bought the new Freestone Zs and they are fantastic! The stitching makes for a better feel and better mobility. The fit, flex, and new gravel guards are top notch. The storage pockets are nice along with the tool docking area. The zipper is heavy duty and is convenient allowing for easy in and out and will be useful when nature calls. I have no complaints. Wore the simms G3 wading pant on a 14 day 120 mile river float moose hunt in alaska. Put them through pure abuse the entire time and never got wet and stayed dry and comfortable the entire time despite being in water and rain constantly. Worn with the simms guide boots I was very impressed. It ’s the only time I ’ ve hunted alaska with dry feet the whole time.
