I bought these for my son after the compression short was way too tight( and he is a skinny kid). These allow excellent quality padding under his non padded uniform shorts and they are fine to wear by themselves too. The padding is much firmer than his adidas and uhlsport keeper shorts. He plays 2 games per week and practices 5 days a week so these are getting lots of use. We purchased 2 pairs. If you purchase direct from Storelli, they charge return shipping if stuff does not fit. Buying at Dicks is so much better because they offer free returns or you can take back to the store.
