I have had this bag since 2017 and I beat the crap out of it and it has held up beyond my expectations.. The only thing I wish is that I could wash it better, because I am so hard on my stuff. I would put one more strip of padding on the bottom of the area for the laptop and two way zippers for the front little pocket, One other suggestion is for the side pockets where you can put your drinks it would be cool if one of those was a little longer, and you could zip it up.... This bag is very well made, nothing has come apart, nothing has had to be replaced and all the zippers are intact at almost 8 years since purchase with daily use!

Ok, here is the deal. I bought the ox red 15- inch laptop Kanken for travel. I love it. Then I bought the frost green classic Kanken for work and the peachy pink mini for an everyday purse. To say that I am obsessed is an understatement. I love all of the backpacks, and the mini is no exception. I carry bags based on mood. The peachy pink color is an adorable, fun color for any age. FABRIC: The nylon material used on the exterior of the backpack feels like its built to last and the interior polyester is also well constructed. There are so many things I love about this backpack. The Trolley/Luggage sleeve on the backside is such a nice feature to be included as this backpack definitely has the size to be used for extended trips. This is my only go- everywhere bag that I take with me any time I leave the house. I ’ ve been using it for three years and I love it as much as the day I got it. I keep my phone in the back top- zippered compartment, and AirPods and lip balm in the small front pocket. In the main compartment slip pocket I have a notebook, pen, stain remover; in the rest of the compartment, I have alcohol hand spray, a pack of tissues, prescription glasses in their case standing up, and beside the glasses a Fjällräven pencil case in which I carry my must- haves( Advil, pocket knife, measuring tape, Bandaids, sanitary pad, alcohol wipes, nail file, hair elastic, eye glasses spray cleaner, snack). The glasses case and the Fjällräven pencil case stand up perfectly side by side, and in front of them I keep my Fjällräven Zip Wallet( filled with approximately 15 cards and cash). All of these items combined fit into the Sling without issue, and I can still put my large set of keys inside if I don ’ t want them in my pocket or clipped to the sturdy strap. In one of the side pockets, I keep a reusable bag. For a bag this small, it ’s amazing all that it can hold, and it ’s super comfortable to wear and have on all day. My one word of caution is to not wear the bag with any kind of delicate athletic/spandex- type clothing since the heavy- duty woven strap can snag or pull the fabric. For people who talk about colour transfer, please use common sense. If you buy the bag in a light colour, yes, of course, it will get dirty( the light colours make no sense to me and don ’ t blame the company for that)!! Similarly, yes, do not wear the bag in a dark colour rubbing against a white shirt. It ’s obvious from the material of the Sling that colour can transfer in both ways. I have mine in Dark Forest( same colour as my backpack and several items of clothing) and absolutely adore it. I love how I can grab the bag by the handles or the long strap, how everything is securely zipped, how hard- wearing the material is, and how I can also hook things to the bag if necessary. I can ’ t recommend it enough.

I got the gray one at dicks sporting goods. and i love it already. It fits my Asus gaming laptop that is 17. 8 inches. has room for 4 shirts, 2 jeans, underwear, socks, flannel in the middle pocket. Cables, mouse, gaming controller for the laptop in the front main compartment along with space for a notebook. This daypack is a well- rounded minimal travel daypack. One large compartment that is expandable. Folds down flat so it can be packed. Comes with a couple of well placed straps for compression and stability( sternum strap). The bottom is made of a more durable material. It's not too hard to pack and make this backpack stand on its own. Looks great too! Small con: bottle side pockets can be hard to use if pack is full. Maybe stretchy side pockets would work better. Would suggest Fjallraven team explore two- tone color options in the future.

I grabbed this with the intention of it being an addition to my bike set up. I was torn between this bag and the Abisko Hike Foldsack but decided upon this one because it rolls up and can easily store on my bike during transit. On my way home with groceries I can unroll it and wo n't have to worry about stuffing everything into my handle bar bag. Overall I am biased to say I love all Fjallraven items and have not purchased anything from them that has let me down.

I 've been using this Surge backpack since 2019 and it has been great! I 've heard my family's thoughts on the newer model of the same backpack and they are not as impressed. The straps are more prone to breaking and the seams have started tearing pretty early in the life of their backpack. This being said, my older model has been so great! It's gone through years of hauling notebooks, folders, textbooks, water bottles, and clothes for practice after school. One of the shoulder straps did begin to tear last year( 2024) slightly but a quick stitch- job has got it back to working order. I would definitely buy a North Face backpack again!

Admittedly, when I bought this bag, I did n't realize it was a diaper bag. I got it because of the number of pockets. It's the Toyota Sienna of backpacks! I 've used it every day for over a year for work carrying a MacBook, full size planner, notebook, full pen pouch, 40oz Owala water bottle, all the chargers, hand sanitizers, and a million other things with ease. If air bubble was a backpack, this is it. Shoulder bags are a pain and get in the way when traveling. This bag made security and boarding a plane and cruise easier and faster. The compartments help keep everything organized and there was enough space for the necessities for a 1 and 3 year old( wipes, diapers, extra clothes). The outer side pockets were big enough for their thermoses, and the back pocket in the bag was just enough to fit a thin changing pad. The straps are padded and comfortable. I hope there is an updated version next year!

If you are a shorter person with a 13 '' laptop, this bag is perfect. I am 5ft 3 '' and my things feel so much lighter in this bag because it fits well with the length of my back. The straps do n't get in the way of arm swing, the laptop compartment is big enough to fit 13 '' laptop in a sleeve, and I can still fit all my other things in the main compartment. Perfect.

This is my go to bag! Just big enough to fit my laptop without being overly bulky. Great for a city day bag, side pockets are perfect for umbrella and small water bottle. When I ’ m not carrying my laptop, the back padded section is perfect for my wallet and other valuables, or items I want to find more easily. Great bag. Great size. I bought this bag to replace another 40L bag I had for work and daily use. I was looking for a bag that had plenty of room in a main compartment, while also being able to hold a laptop and smaller items( pens, small tools, notepad). This bag fit the need great. I recently traveled across the country with it and it held up great. The straps and back panel make it comfortable to wear, the roll top makes throwing and grab large items easy, and it did well holding up to a light snow flurry while I was out( though I feel the material would struggle with a heavy soak). I bike commute and found this bag to be useful even to throw a few groceries in on the way home. Overall if you 're looking for a good size do anything bag this is a good fit.
