I bought this a month ago and use it in our back yard in the evenings. Works like a charm. May I suggest Velcro attachments to hold the zipper steady. No problem went to Joanna's and bought some. Other than that everything okay

I purchased 3 tents for a school event and ordered panel walls for them. The tents have a 2 year warranty( for a low additional price) which covers rips, tears, or any other damage. They work great! We 've used them for 2 ice cream socials and they are perfect- easy to carry, put up, and they stay up well too!

I previously had purchased an ozark canopy and was in need of panels for it to use at craft fairs. I was worried that this might not fit because my canopy was another brand, but these fit perfectly. The fabric is pretty sturdy as well and kept the sun off of us and the wind mostly out. The only thing I did not like was the velcro. While it did hold the panels in place, they felt a little flimsy and when the wind picked up, the velcro did not hold as strongly as I would have liked in some places. That being said, I have been very pleased with this product and would recommend it as a lower cost option for those who already have a canopy.

Very compact, easy to transport and works well. ... I 've got it connected to my Goal Zero Yeti 500x and when positioned in the sun correctly I get as much input as when I plug it into my wall

I added this to go with four Boulder 30's. I have two Yeti 400's chained together, plus two RV batteries. 120 watts for my Yetis and 100 watts for the RV. I only start my generator once a week to circulate the lubricants. I love capturing sunshine!

Goal Zero Boulder 100 Briefcase is well made, sturdy, easy to use, compact and not too heavy. Yes, Goal Zero is very proud of their products but they are worth the price. I do have competitive products, so I can actually compare realistically and the Goal Zero Boulder 100 Briefcase is my choice hands down. You can expect, in clear skies, property directed to the sun, to get about 80 Watts out of it, on average in summer. This is a perfect match for Goal Zero's Yeti series `` Power Stations '' I use this product daily.

I use a yeti 1400 lithium with MPPT and a pair of boulder 100 briefcase panels primarily to power my small travel trailer off grid camping and at motorcycle trial events. I 'm very pleased with the performance of this setup. My experience is that on a clear, sunny day the pair of 100 boulders will charge the yeti at a rate of 90 to 150+ watts/hr. I actually have seen over 180. I highly recommend these products.

Have n't use the panel yet, but my brother says they work great.

This is my first solar panel so I do n't have much to compare this to. It's very study, dropped it out of the car a few times and kids have tumbled over it. It's fine for car camping and home use but would n't want this overlanding or even for a basecamp trek. Cord is very short, I guess to be part of a series of panels on an extension cord to get further from camp.

I have a Nomad 7 and love that one as well as the 20. I keep a `` go bag '' in all of our family vehicles and this is an essential to make going off grid a much easier experience

I have the Sherpa 100AC and the Sherpa 100PD and use my Nomad 20 to recharge them. I love that the Sherpa 100AC has passthrough charging, so I can daisy chain them and charge them both at once. My only complaint would be that the 8mm charging cable that can be stored on the back of the solar panel is getting twisted inside the sheathing. I believe this is due to the heat of leaving it charging for multiple hours in the sun, then wrapping it back up. I wonder how long the cable will last and it does n't appear to be swappable if it kinks/breaks at some point in the future. For now, everything is working as expected.

If it's been folded up for a while it's kind of hard to unfold and use other than that it's genuine goal zero quality.

I used Goal Zero for a 1, 500- mile, 75- day solo canoe and kayak expedition.( PaddleQuest 1500) The equipment performed so well that I upgraded for a recent Everglades circumnavigation expedition. Keeping the Venture 75 on charge all day, even with filtered sunlight gave me the juice necessary to keep navigation, communication and lights topped off. It ’s good to venture into the wilderness confident in my essential equipment!

Purchased this for my son to take to college with him so he can keep his Sherpa 100 charged in a power outage. Did the same for my daughter. The 20 is built well and works great to keep smaller power packs charged. I have one and it has worked great over the years.

Portable panels are versatile tools primarily used for generating solar energy, providing power in remote locations, or enhancing outdoor experiences. They are ideal for camping, hiking, or any outdoor activities where access to electricity is limited. Additionally, they can be utilized for charging devices, powering small appliances, or supporting temporary setups in various environments.
When selecting portable panels, consider factors such as power output, weight, and size for ease of transport. Look for features like durability, weather resistance, and compatibility with various devices to ensure they meet your needs. Additionally, check for built-in technology that enhances efficiency, such as smart charging capabilities or multiple output ports.
Choosing the right size of portable panels depends on your power requirements and how you plan to use them. Assess the devices you intend to charge and their energy consumption to calculate the necessary wattage. Additionally, consider portability and storage space, as larger panels may provide more power but can be bulkier to transport.
Most portable panels are designed with durability in mind, often featuring rugged materials that can withstand outdoor conditions. Look for panels that are water-resistant and built to endure exposure to the elements. However, it's essential to check the specifications and user reviews to ensure they meet your expectations for durability in various environments.
While portable panels can function in various weather conditions, their efficiency may be affected by factors such as cloud cover, rain, or snow. Many panels are designed to be weather-resistant, allowing for use in light rain or overcast conditions. However, for optimal performance, sunny conditions are typically ideal for generating maximum power.
