I purchased this bat recently due to all the media hype. I noticed that my regular bat had mostly ball scuffs closer to the trademark and not at the end of the bat. I figured the TPD1 would be the best choice since that model has the sweet spot closer to the trademark. For me, the bat is easier to swing, feeling more balanced and lighter due to the location of the sweet spot. I have had good success with limited at bats so far. I feel more confident at the plate knowing that I will have a better swing with a bat that does have good pop.

We 've been extremely impressed with the Baum Platinum Stock Composite Maple Bat at the 15U level. The bat delivers exceptional pop while maintaining the feel and feedback of a traditional wood bat. The balanced swing weight allows hitters to generate bat speed without sacrificing barrel control, making it a great option for both contact hitters and players looking to drive the ball with authority. The Platinum model is specifically designed for premium performance with a balanced profile, composite maple construction, and extended warranty coverage. What stands out most is the consistency. Unlike many wood bats that can lose performance or break unexpectedly, the Baum provides a durable alternative that holds up well through heavy cage work and game use while still feeling like wood. The sweet spot is forgiving, and mishits do n't seem to punish hitters as much as traditional maple bats. Many players and coaches consider Baum composite bats the benchmark in the wood- composite category because of their combination of durability and performance. For 15U players transitioning toward higher levels of baseball and wood- bat events, the Baum Platinum is a worthwhile investment. The price point is premium, but the performance, durability, and confidence it gives hitters make it one of the best composite wood bats we 've used. Highly recommended for serious players looking for a wood- bat feel with added longevity and pop.

I bought this bc I had just broken a fungo and figured I 'd just get an affordable bat. Had a coupon for$ 10 off so I bought this bat. I 've used daily for over three weeks to hit grounders and fly balls to my high school team. Also used in the cage for my own BP. I 've used maple with more `` pop '' but this one seems pretty solid. When this one breaks, bc all wood bats will eventually, I 'll buy another one just like it. Value, durability is solid on this purchase.

If I had spent$ 400 on this bat, my review may have been different but I spent less than$ 100 after sales and rewards. My daughter does n't do a ton of USSSA baseball tournaments but her last bat( ADV) was a 2 piece and broke so I grabbed this one. This hits as good as MUCH more expensive bats. Bought this for my 15 year old son ”s summer league tournaments, and he loves it. These bats seem to be a cut above some of the other( lesser quality, more inexpensive) bats available in the store. I will continue to purchase Marucci.

Bat is sweet, it ’s light but solid, it look great ... The bat is well balanced. ... The icon is a more balanced bat with far superior “ pop ”. ... Very balanced and lighter than it
5
Just received and really like it ball jumps off the bat. Like the grip and size of the barrel
5
[ It ’s one of the best looking bats I ’ ve seen and the bat is solid with a great feel
5
We were given one of these bats to demo from a Rawlings representative through our travel baseball organization and I can say hands down it is the best bat I have ever swung. The bat was an inch longer than I usually swing and I was still able to swing it stronger faster and with more control than with any of the other bats I ’ ve owned. My bat of choice before the icon was a Cat 9 composite. The icon is a more balanced bat with far superior “ pop ”. The ball flies off the bat.
5
My son was so excited to receive this bat! Can ’ t wait to try it in a game!

I bought this bat about 3 weeks ago( 33 '',- 3) for my 13 year old who is moving to BBCOR 5. 0. This review is his words. The sound is loud with a sharp `` ping '' when you barrel up a ball. It does n't feel too heavy and has a big barrel with a lot of pop. There really is n't anything I do n't like about it.

Bat really transfers generated power through the barrel well, has little to no feedback in the handle. Legit thump in this bat. Only suggestion, make a more appealing color way.

Jetty baseball
