I purchased this bat recently due to all the media hype. I noticed that my regular bat had mostly ball scuffs closer to the trademark and not at the end of the bat. I figured the TPD1 would be the best choice since that model has the sweet spot closer to the trademark. For me, the bat is easier to swing, feeling more balanced and lighter due to the location of the sweet spot. I have had good success with limited at bats so far. I feel more confident at the plate knowing that I will have a better swing with a bat that does have good pop.

This is my sons first Rawlings bat. Got him the one piece alloy Cat X last season and he ’s completely ditched that bat since getting the MachAI. He plays on a Majors level 9U team and has had some nice ABs against good pitching. Definitely a keeper!

My son( 7) just finished his first +/- 300 swings indoor and outdoor. He likes the look and feel of the bat. We are fortunate to have access to cages over 70 feet. This is important because he have a arguable data compared against his previous USA stamp( Omaha). My son was excited to see he could now hit a line drive to the end of the cage with relative ease. As a high school coach that played/coached under BESR this bat is reminiscent of the “ old days. ” The bat has pop! The sweet spot seems to have some give as he ’s not always barreling balls. I ’ m hoping it holds up throughout the season as he has some room to grow( 27/17).

Very balanced and light feeling bat with good pop. 1/2 hour testing in intervals with my 11 year old swinging 29- 10 in all bats( USSSA Icon, USSSA Mach AI, USA Rawlings Quatro glow stick). All bats felt great. Sons favorite was the new Icon, but exit velo very close on the Mach AI. Exit Velos all listed below: USSSA Icon- 60. 8 USSSA Mach AI- 58. 5 USA Rawlings Quatro- 52. 0 Very impressed with the new Rawlings bat lineup. Got this for Christmas and was a great choice, it's not to expensive and does not lose pop over time. I 've used a lot and it still is holding up. After a couple days of using it you get that perfect feel and pop. It does n't hurt my hands even if it's cold. It is a great bat to start out with. It it slightly end loaded but overall balanced.

We were given one of these bats to demo from a Rawlings representative through our travel baseball organization and I can say hands down it is the best bat I have ever swung. The bat was an inch longer than I usually swing and I was still able to swing it stronger faster and with more control than with any of the other bats I ’ ve owned. My bat of choice before the icon was a Cat 9 composite. The icon is a more balanced bat with far superior “ pop ”. The ball flies off the bat.

This is easily the best BBCOR bat I 've ever swung. It has a perfectly balanced swing weight- easy to control and the bat feels like it's hot from the hands to the end of the barrel. When I hit the ball perfect perfect, it feels like the hottest 1 piece ever. When I hit it off the hands or off the end, it feels like the most forgiving 2 piece ever! This year I was moving up from a 32 to a 33. I saw the Bat Bros video/ranking and was excited. I had swung a 33 voodoo one and 33 goods and like that the Atlas has both the close swing speed to the voodoo and close to the same sweet spot of the goods. My first day with it I beat my previous exit velo record by 3 mph. Perfect balance between swing weight and sweet spot and insane pop.
