I got 4 or 5 seasons out of my previous Foot Joy shoe, the Helix D. N. A., so I was only buying Foot Joy this time. Seeing as I knew I wanted another pair, and that I wanted to replace them with a top of the line version, the FJ Pro/SLX Carbon's were my top choice. I have worn them about 4 times now, and feet feel fresh after each use, not tired. They come standard with Orthopedic insoles, so I have yet to buy a pair of Pine Valley Orthotics, like I had with my DNS's. For me, these are the perfect shoe. Great looks and great comfort. The price is a little on the higher side, sure, but if you treat them well, you 'll get several season out of them.

I tried these shoes for the first time yesterday and was very impressed by the fit and comfort. I wore the shoes indoors a few times prior to wearing them for golf, so they had an only a small amount of “ break in. ” Some other brand ’s golf shoes were too tight in the toe box and my toes were sore after my rounds.
