Beautiful shoe. Lightweight, sturdy, lots of cushioning in the heel and mid- foot. Sock type made a huge difference for me with this shoe. I tried on 2 different shoe sizes with 2 different socks. My usual size 7-- If I wear cushioned socks, these shoes are extremely snug and nearing uncomfortable. If I wear thin socks( that I use for running), these shoes fit comfortably and just right. Went up a half size to 7. 5-- Cushioned socks, shoes are comfortable but I get a lot of heel slippage no matter how I tie the laces. Thin socks, even more heel slippage. Also, 7. 5 was clearly too long for my foot because I had over 1 thumb's worth of space from my big toe to the end of the shoe's toe box. The extra length in the toe made me walk funny. My suggestion is to try different sizes with different socks because these shoes have a weird, picky fit.
