I 'm new to golf, started playing last summer and have just begun getting more serious about playing. Wanted to get a pair of golf shoes so I went into golf galaxy and tried on some options, but so many models felt narrow and stiff. I prefer a wide shoe and even the wide sizes did n't feel wide enough in the toes for me with other brands. But when I tried these on there were exactly what I was looking for. The toebox is very roomy and does n't feel like they 're constricting my feet. The leather is a soft, pliable leather that moves well and does n't feel stiff. Comfort wise they are great. So much so that I 've been contemplating buying the trainer version of these shoes for everyday wear. I went a 1/2 size down. I 'm a true 10. 5 but found their 10. 5 was a little big for me, so went with a 10 and they fit like a glove. Waterproofing is good. Wore them for an early morning round with dew on the ground and my feet stayed dry. If you 're looking for something that has a wider fit, is comfortable, and does n't feel stiff then these are a great option.

Played my first round in them yesterday and these are awesome shoes! Very stable, comfortable and and a well designed shoe. It is a tennis shoe that has golf spikes. It is way comfortable for the sole of your feet and it has stability of an old school foot joy. I usually ride a cart but I walk a lot during the round. I own a couple pairs of the air Max 270 running shoes so I figured these would be perfect in the same size, 11. 5. not true, though extremely comfortable, the upper does n't stretch as much as the running shoe because of the waterproof coating that limits the stretch. My number one reason for leaving this review is that i just played 14 holes for a charity scramble, and it was rain before we started. The shoes made it 12 rounds before I could feel water getting in around the edges. Not bad for hurricane weather! I tried on several shoe brands and types before choosing this style and fit. The size was not accurate to what i would normally wear, but is very comfortable! I played golf once without a waterproof shoe on an early morning, never again. Since buying them I have played on a 102° day and yes my feet were hot, but I feel the shoes did there job of being breathable.
