This is my first pair of spineless shoes. The sneakers styling of these shoes make it very comfortable to wear to the driving range and onto the golf course. Whenever I wore low- rising socks, some shoes used to chafe against my ankles, the the knit fabric of these shoes prevent any chafing. The sole is very grippy, so my feet don ’ t slip during my swings. These shoes fit to size, or maybe a bit on the smaller side. The laces will secure very tightly on your feet, so you could get away with half- size bigger. What I also like about these shoes is that even if it ’s waterproof, by feet don ’ t feel stuffy nor sweaty on a dry days, unlike some other waterproof shoes I ’ ve tried.

Seeing as I knew I wanted another pair, and that I wanted to replace them with a top of the line version, the FJ Pro/SLX Carbon's were my top choice. I have worn them about 4 times now, and feet feel fresh after each use, not tired. They come standard with Orthopedic insoles, so I have yet to buy a pair of Pine Valley Orthotics, like I had with my DNS's. For me, these are the perfect shoe. Great looks and great comfort. Just played my first round with these yesterday and they did not disappoint! This shoe has it all with excellent traction and stability, yet so comfortable at the same time. The fit around my heel is nice and sung, which was a major factor in pulling the trigger on these( tried on 10 different shoes and my heel was slipping in all of them but these). Played in dry conditions so haven ’ t tested the waterproof functionality and grip in wet weather, but I have no doubts they will hold up fine. These definitely aren ’ t cheap, but you get what you pay for. These are worth every penny and are the top spikeless on the market right now, IMO. Two thumbs up 👍👍

I had a pair of air max plus in the early aughts, this is the super saiyan version. Thick leather upper, rock solid mid plate, beefy sole, and patent leather toe gives Jordan 11 vibes. Bought these after watching many reviews on YouTube and reading multiple online reviews that said they were the BEST and MOST comfortable shoes again and again. I typically wear Ecco ’s and honestly I feel the Ecco ’s are more comfortable and more cushioned than these shoes. The reviews say they are like walking on clouds but I don ’ t find them to be like that. They are for lack of a better term “ cushioned stiff ”. Meaning they aren ’ t as soft and cushioned as the reviewers led me to believe. They are more like a cushioned stiff mold but not super soft. With that said they aren ’ t bad but they certainly aren ’ t like walking on clouds. I ’ ll keep them as a second pair but the Ecco ’s for me are much more comfortable for walking 18 holes. I was disappointed because I am always looking for the next evolution of the moret comfortable golf shoes, but I guess that ’s why there is more than one company that makes golf shoes. I would give it a 8/10. Good but not great.
