Whenever I wore low- rising socks, some shoes used to chafe against my ankles, the the knit fabric of these shoes prevent any chafing. The sole is very grippy, so my feet don ’ t slip during my swings. These shoes fit to size, or maybe a bit on the smaller side. The laces will secure very tightly on your feet, so you could get away with half- size bigger. I got 4 or 5 seasons out of my previous Foot Joy shoe, the Helix D. N. A., so I was only buying Foot Joy this time. Seeing as I knew I wanted another pair, and that I wanted to replace them with a top of the line version, the FJ Pro/SLX Carbon's were my top choice. I have worn them about 4 times now, and feet feel fresh after each use, not tired. They come standard with Orthopedic insoles, so I have yet to buy a pair of Pine Valley Orthotics, like I had with my DNS's. For me, these are the perfect shoe. Great looks and great comfort. I love the ease of the Sketchers Slip Ins. Not my first pair of slip ins for other shoes of Sketchers, but the golf cleats provide quick and easy change after playing and going into the club house. I would recommend trying them on as opposed to buying online beforehand. For me Sketchers brand tend to fit about 1/2 to 1 size smaller than what I usually purchase. All in all it is a great shoe that I use for practice mainly that provides easy and quick change that provides great traction, stability, and support without a hassle of changing out cleats.

They look amazing and feel even better when I swapped out the stock insole for my personal insoles. They run a little narrow so I went 1/2 size up. Stiff soles at first but after a couple rounds they soften up a little and they always have great traction. No slipping on any wet grass as I walk down a hill or out of a sand trap. My feet feel great( and dry) even after a full round of 18. Plus they look like the OG Tailwinds from the 90s that I wanted since I was a kid!

I play early morning rounds and my feet never get wet. The flat souls actually give me stability, but are not heavy shoes like the other brands I do have that give more stability.
