This was my first Wilson glove as I grew up playing high school ball with a HOH. I primarily played infield and always rocked an 11. 5 ” glove. However, now as an adult I have been playing rec slow pitch softball. I went with this 12 ” glove to use as a hybrid between softball and coaching my son in baseball( throwing batting practice, warming up players.. etc.) The glove feels pretty stiff when you first get it but it ’s definitely softening up with regular catch. With good care, a proper leather conditioner, and proper storage I have no doubt this glove will last me forever! Great product.

I had Wilson's A2000 glove around 1962. Back then it cost approximately$ 45. 00, which was a lot of money for a glove. It was the `` BEST '' glove I have owned. The A2000 was so good that my best friend would refuse to play on my team so he could use it while playing on the opposing team. Unfortunately, in 1964, someone stole it from me and I needed a new glove quickly. The new glove was a Mickey Mantle glove, my favorite player, manufactured by a competing company. I still have that glove.
