I just got this glove and the leather is amazing. Better feeling than most stock A2000's or Hoh's but will see how it holds up in time. Huge improvement from the Global Elites. The pattern seems like it will play shallow but not too shallow. The heel a little on the thicker side and is a unique squared shape on this particular model. The lace quality is in between Wilson and Rawlings lace( closer to Rawlings) in my opinion but time will tell. I do not think you will regret the purchase of this glove. Worth every penny as far as I can tell. Mizuno really stepped it up with this line.

He has a pro preffered Rawlings($ 400) and I like this one a lot more. Definitely a nice glove, online photos don ’ t do it justice looks better in person. Also shipped in two days from Dicks. I paid full price for this color option but you can usually find different colors online cheaper. Highly recommend.

Bought this for my 10 year old son to use as an all purpose infield and outfield glove. This is our 2nd A2000. The leather lining is noticeably softer than the older model and the wrist binding leather is a nice touch. The overall leather quality and color combo are great. We used Wilson ’s recommended hot water break in method with a mallet and it was ready to go after a couple days. Do not steam, it ’s bad for the leather and voids the warranty. Try it on in a store if you can. Our local store had 3 and they all fit very differently. So happy with this glove. We are A2000 users for life!

The A2000 was so good that my best friend would refuse to play on my team so he could use it while playing on the opposing team. Unfortunately, in 1964, someone stole it from me and I needed a new glove quickly. The new glove was a Mickey Mantle glove, my favorite player, manufactured by a competing company. I still have that glove.

This was my first Wilson glove as I grew up playing high school ball with a HOH. I primarily played infield and always rocked an 11. 5 ” glove. However, now as an adult I have been playing rec slow pitch softball. I went with this 12 ” glove to use as a hybrid between softball and coaching my son in baseball( throwing batting practice, warming up players.. etc.) The glove feels pretty stiff when you first get it but it ’s definitely softening up with regular catch. With good care, a proper leather conditioner, and proper storage I have no doubt this glove will last me forever! Great product.
