We bought this for my son for Christmas, after he ’ d done extensive research on the best options. There was a cheaper one that was linked to GPS, but you ’ d have to sync it each time. When we gave him his gift, he was so pleased, because he said this one was much better. Plus, it ’s magnetic and can attach to the golf cart! Great gift, and a must buy if you ’ re a golfer.

This is my first range finder after using a watch for years. I 'm very happy with making the switch. This is a solid range finder that has good weight, durability and is super fast. Only downside is that it vibrates whenever it seems to lock- on to something, regardless if it's a pin, a tree or beer cart. I was between this and the Bushnell XE and glad I made the decision to go with this- I 'm not sure I would have needed all the additional capabilities of that range finder.

Upgraded from the NX7( Random Golf Club edition) and was def worth it. The NX7 was working well, but started to develop spots on the screen. The NX9 is accurate af and the vibrating pulse is such a good feature. Distances are on point and the slope feature is a must. For the money, this is a steal compared to the top brands.

Just got this and have used it for 3 rounds now. It ’s an amazing piece of technology to have on the course. It is accurate and very easy to tag the pin. The amount of different yardages you can get in an instant is awesome. At first, I was hesitant about looking at a screen rather than through a lens.. and I will say Garmin does not really tell you this in their advertising. However, if you compare this side by side with a Bushnell, you ’ ll notice that the screen actually brightens things up. When I ’ m shooting a pin that ’s in the shade, it is much easier to see the pin than with a traditional laser rangefinder. Also, I adapted to looking at the screen very quickly, and don ’ t mind it now. Overall, I think this gives you way more for your money than spending$ 400-$ 500 just to get pin distances. Would 100% recommend this!

Have used the laser about 10 rounds now. The accuracy of the GPS is awesome, sometimes from over 350, it is pretty hard to get the flag but most of us are n't flag hunting from that range. The pin seeker works well but not sure really needed with the 2D layout on screen. Most of the time( 8/10) the line across the green to show approximate location of the flag on the green works. When it does n't, I think trusting the approach view with front, back and carry over bunkers is accurate enough to use. Wind feature does n't work unless Garmin app is on and active but the app overall is n't as good as many other to track scores and other date. But turn it on to get wind speed and direction. The only thing I do n't like is that it is rechargeable, and not battery. It last's about 2. 75 rounds so be sure to have the cord with you to charge if needed. It does charge really quick if needed. Since the GPS follows what hole you are on, if you spray to other fairway or off too far, the GPS thinks you are on the next hole. You will need to use more of laser to get landing area. I have n't tried changing holes inside laser but maybe it would work if followed with the app?

It utilizes laser technology to send out a pulse that reflects off a target and returns to the device, calculating the distance based on the time it takes for the pulse to return. The pulse vibration feature provides tactile feedback to the user, indicating when a measurement has been successfully taken, which can enhance accuracy and ease of use in various conditions. These rangefinders are designed to be compact and portable, making them convenient for on-the-go measurements.
When selecting a pulse vibration rangefinder, consider features such as accuracy, range, and ease of use. Look for models that offer a clear display and quick measurement capabilities to enhance your experience on the course. To maintain pulse vibration rangefinders, it is important to keep the device clean and free from dust and debris. Regularly wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth and avoid using harsh chemicals that could damage the lens or casing. Additionally, store the rangefinder in a protective case when not in use to prevent scratches and impacts. Checking the battery regularly and replacing it as needed will also help ensure optimal performance.
Pulse vibration rangefinders are typically constructed using durable materials such as high-quality plastics and rubber for the outer casing, which provide protection against impacts and weather conditions. The lenses are often made from optical glass or polycarbonate, ensuring clarity and precision in measurements. Additionally, some models may incorporate metal components for added strength and stability, enhancing the overall performance and longevity of the device.
