Love the shoe. Perfect fit and very comfortable. It ’s a sturdier foam but not overly plush like other high stack running shoes. First time trying a plated shoe and it ’s great, it doesn ’ t feel stiff and response is great. I was nervous about the drop as I prefer zero- low drop but the shoe feels more like a 4- 6mm drop which is also great. Definitely perfect for faster runs both short and longer( 5- 12k?). I ’ m not a long distance runner so I haven ’ t tested them on anything over 12k.

Great speed day and race day shoe! Ran a half marathon in these right out of the box( bad idea I know) but they felt great! My legs felt pretty fresh the next day too. Done some great speed sessions in these too. Love the fit and these shoes make it funny and easy to pick up the pace! Also love the pale pink colorway too( I ’ m a woman with wide feet so I buy men ’s sizes as many of us do!)

I love the changes from last year. The toe box has more room, but i feel the added width in the mid food, fits my food shape better. Seems less aggressive than last year, so its doing better at different paces, it felt like the last version only wanted to go fast, this one want to do it all, and it does it well. I would caution that you may want to size down half a size.

Great shoes. Not overly cushy, responsive. I do wish I would gone 1/2 size larger. The fit is snug around the foot. As an Analogy- I compare it to slim fit shirt. If you prefer a classic fit shirt, nice and loose, then you won ’ t like the shoe. It fits well, but is tailored around your foot.

I have had 3 pairs of deviate 2s and this is the only pair of 3s i have so far, but wow. What an amazing shoe. It has become my race day shoe primarily for now. love the evolution of this product. Everything from the shoe laces to the carbon plate is really very top notch. I have completed several 5ks in them and won my age, and just recent ran the Ballin on Belrose a ten mile race done on a half mile hill.. I ran it last year in the forever run, and this year in the deviate 3 feet felt amazing.

This is a great shoe for an everyday trainer that you can slow the pace down or pick up the speed. I really love the nitro foam, as it allows the shoe to be more than a speed day shoe. There's really nothing that I do n't like. It fits my personal needs within my current rotation. The fit is perfect. I love the color and the entire upper. The nitro foam is amazing, and the outsole is what we have come to expect from a Puma shoe. I 'm not a fan of max cushion, this has the right amount to go great along with the plate. I did not run in version 3, but I 've seen enough reviews to know it was an improvement.
