[ Smartwool makes more cushioned socks for hiking or skiing and appropriately lighter socks for summer or heavier socks for winter, but these socks are a perfect compromise for every day wear, just as advertised. Enough cushion but not bulky and they stay up without any pinching. They make you forget you are wearing socks.
