Love the feel as I walk up and down mountain trails. Keep my feet warm but not hot in cold, damp, wet weather. Do n't like the stiff top of boot; kinda bumps unpleasantly against ankles.

Finally, after having to use 5 pairs of different walking shoes throughout the week( all of them claimed to be waterproof at the time of purchase, but none of them were) I have actually found a pair of boots that I can wear with confidence and also everyday. My daughter is 3 yo& is on her second pair. She got these in black for xmas 2019& these in hickory xmas 2020. So she's been wearing them almost daily since she was just 2& always puts them on& off by herself! She does n't even use the zippers at all& they NEVER unzip as she runs& runs in them. I bought 2 pairs of these boots back in 2021, and they are consistently great. Easy to wear, warm, supportive, and snow proof. I have driven to Zion, Bryce, Arches and Grand Canyon in them in the snow. Never lets me down. Look also look `` futuristic '' to me which I love because it gives my all cream or all black north face outfits a little jazz up LOL. I ordered 1/2 size up to accommodate thick wool winter socks.

I bought my first black and white Kinetic boot several years ago, and they have been my go- to boot for snow and cold weather. This newer model has a wider footbed- which is great for more stability, and an improved sole which is a great redesign as well. My old ones are still going strong, but when this newer model went on sale I could n't resist. I usually order my regular size 7 in Sorel boots, but, as per a previous review, I ordered a half size up to be able to wear thicker socks. These fit great and feel fantastic!
