So she's been wearing them almost daily since she was just 2& always puts them on& off by herself! She does n't even use the zippers at all& they NEVER unzip as she runs& runs in them. I bought 2 pairs of these boots back in 2021, and they are consistently great. Easy to wear, warm, supportive, and snow proof. I have driven to Zion, Bryce, Arches and Grand Canyon in them in the snow. Never lets me down. Look also look `` futuristic '' to me which I love because it gives my all cream or all black north face outfits a little jazz up LOL. I ordered 1/2 size up to accommodate thick wool winter socks.

I bought my first black and white Kinetic boot several years ago, and they have been my go- to boot for snow and cold weather. This newer model has a wider footbed- which is great for more stability, and an improved sole which is a great redesign as well. My old ones are still going strong, but when this newer model went on sale I could n't resist. I usually order my regular size 7 in Sorel boots, but, as per a previous review, I ordered a half size up to be able to wear thicker socks. These fit great and feel fantastic!

I have both these boots and the equivalent lace- up model( I couldn ’ t decide, so I bought both), and I slightly prefer these. The sizing is the same and both are comfortable, but these are quicker to take on and off and I can remove them without having to sit down, which is nice since these aren ’ t “ in the house ” shoes. The ankle is a bit higher which puts a slight pressure on your shin( at least when new), but it ’s not uncomfortable and on the plus side means your ankles don ’ t get cold when the wind blows. The tread on both is great and hardly slips on ice when other people are having trouble. Both shoes are warm and overall I would say the lace- ups are better for hiking where you want the most support and don ’ t mind the extra time to put on/off, but these are better for running errands or dog walking, when the convenience of easy on/off is a bigger factor.
